Went there to replace our TV. While staff were helpful in getting tv remotes so we could test responsiveness - a number of online reviews have criticised that for some of the models we were considering - the store loses stars for 2 reasons.The first reason is that they seem to not carry stock for a lot of the models they sell, which is annoying because there is nothing to indicate whether what you?re looking at is actually available to take home. It would save a lot of time and aggro if they were up front about this.The second reason is that when my husband mentioned Curry?s price match promise, the member of staff looked visibly annoyed and turned from helpful to grumpy and offhand. That?s not on. Your own company pushes this to discourage people just visiting and then buying cheaper online.So did we buy our TV from this branch? No, we did not. Will we be returning here if we need to make other purchases of white goods, TVs and similar? Also no. It?s probably as quick for us to go to the Burnley branch where they couldn?t be more helpful.

First time into this shop. Just went to buy a microwave that I found online and unfortunately that wasn't available in store. The very annoying thing was that the staff didn't even greet us, very unwelcoming experience.Update : I have been a few times again to the shop, review down to 1 star from 3. Worst experience. The staff just don't mind you at all.

Absolutely shocking customer service, 3 members of staff walking around yet not one of them greeted us with a hello or a smile. Yes the store was empty we were the only one's in there.I was looking to purchase a fridge freezer there and then, I'll just go else where!!

Avoid, not a good place to shop. Staff are all over the place, service is way off, they talk to some people who walk in and not others. Prices are way over what they should be for the area.

NEVER buy a TV again from currys Pc?
NEVER buy a TV again from currys Pc world,TV stopped working after 1 month ,customer service said after 28 days if they can't repair the TV they will issue a refun

Bought a washing machine Hotpoint ....first delivery ..was damaged they found ..straight took it back ..Second delivery ..was after a week ..and found machine making screeching ...noises and not washing ..leaving stains on high temperature wash....I tried all cycles ..but still leaving stains ...Went in 5 days ....manager in kighley Currys refused money back ..refund ..Said I Have to get RN numberSo manager Currys send sm one out for repairAnd he just tried on off ..put on thn went said it's all ok ..I said look at these dirty shirts ..it leaves stains ..he said he has explained to manufacturer but he's not up liffiting ...so still waiting for a repair going in tmrw with some one .wish for a refund ...?....Repair.

Bought an Apple Watch. Was told it was delivered but the photo show someone else?s house. Informed them that it wasn?t my property.
3 weeks later the accepted liability. In the meantime I had to buy another watch as it was a present for my daughter (still from curry?s). I asked for a refund. I then received an email to say that the item was delivered, again nothing received. I called up and said that I requested a refund and they told me that a refund was processed and will take up to 3 working day and to ignore the email. We are now one week down and three phone calls later and still no refund and no contact made.

Appalling service.
Have JVC internet tv 2 yrs old. 2 weeks ago I was asked to install a JVC update to ensure the tv kept up to date. I installed and immediately the screen resembled a bar code. Sent numerous contact forms to JVC but no reply. Called Curry?s today and after they spent 20 mins finding my order I was asked to turn off tv then turn on but no improvement-as if I hadn?t done that already! Then told there was nothing they could do do. Contact JVC and they gave me the number. That number doesn?t exist. So Curry?s don?t want to know and JVC are not contactable
