I made two visits in the last two days. First one was to adjust my two pair of glasses and your staff Kayleigh did an excellent job so my glasses are now nice and tight on my face. Second day was for eye test with Hammaad Dockrat and Mr. Dockrat was very thorough and professional. Thank you for the excellent service.

Had a brilliant service here for eye test and glasses fitting, very happy with the staff and how professional they are, big shout out to Kaya who dealt with my complex prescription, kept me informed all the way and went above and beyond :) Highly recommend

I've been coming to the store for a few years now and I've always had a fantastic experience. The staff are all friendly and you can tell they all like to have fun while working whilst keeping it professional which is lovely to see. I recommend all my friends and family to this store because of their fantastic service.

Went to an appointment that they booked me (i thought it was for a referrall) and didnt decide to tell me until the very end that the test cost £30. I knew my eyesight was good and everything was fine before the test if i knew it was going to cost that much i wouldnt have gone.

Awful service yesterday, I went to sort my contact lense scheme. After seeing the optometrist and she handed the papers to one the clerks. The clerk sat me down and starting typing the details on the computer. Didn't say what her name was, didn't go through what she was going to do and what the scheme entailed. Instead, she stopped typing and went to get the print outs of the t&c and asked me to sign both papers and gave me the price of how much I would need to pay upfront.First, I was given the wrong contact lense details and they tried to get me onto one of their more expensive brands (which I hadn't trialled) and I had to specifically ask for the contacts lens I did trial. Eventually, that was sorted after a few back and throws.As I was waiting for them, I noticed another customer was having issues with her glasses saying she cannot use them, cannot drive with them and making her feel sick, the clerks (3 of them) at the front desk were eye rolling, sniggering behind the customers back! I was appalled, they thought it was funny. The only good service I received from this store was from the optometrists when I had my eye test. I wished the service was the same at the front desks, but clearly there's a difference in professionalism. Unfortunately, I will not be returning and I have cancelled my scheme less than 24hrs because I was told at the store I will be charge this amount per month and when I got my contract through I was going to be charged more. Not happy.

Extremely bad customer service, I went to do eyes test and change the glasses, they did wrong measurements TWICE and when I escalated optometrist refused to check it again, and imagine what??!! Branch has no manager and no one could respond to any of my requests. Don?t advice any one to visit boots optician Albion street in Leeds

Expensive, useless service. The eye test itself was largely computerised but OK. But dispensing took over an hour for a largely incompetent assistent to try and price up a pair of varifocals. We never even got to measuring up, but by then I'd lost all confidence so just asked to pay for the eye test. The bill came in at almost £1000, for glasses and lenses which I've subsequently bought for a third of that cost. They even wanted to charge £200 to 'reglaze' my existing frames, on top of the new lenses. Never again.

Had a contact lens appointment for my daughter today, I was running late and got told it?s gonna have to be cancelled. The optician on shift, forgot his name unfortunately, was very helpful and got out his way to get it sorted. Much appreciated and highly recommended.

Utter shambles. Cancelled appt but didn't let me know. Apparently tried all through the day but no register of calls on my phone. Wasted journey.Glasses prescription not accurate so needed further appointment. Don't bother with this practice

Called in with a general enquiry about how things work and was blown away with the personal, helpful and informative explanation, I was given. I will be back! All your shops should clone your purple headed reveptionist (Leeds Albion St) as she is the gold star service you need front of house! Well done Boots!

Called in at Boots Opticians to make an enquiry and was blown away by the non judgemental, informative and friendly advice I was given by the purple haired assistant. She was clearly very busy but made me feel important and her priority. Well done Boots for offering good old fashioned customer service!

A very caring and professional service.From the minute I got there Carrina could not have been more helpful she talked me through the new OCD test and allayed any fears I had to the Optician Talha who deserves an award for his excellent customer experience totally thorough explained everything so clearly with the patience of ?Job? to the young chap Ben who fixed my glasses as I gad sat on them !! Not at any time did I feel pressured for any other services they have on offer just an honest courteous service you all are a credit to Boots thank you .

The staff there was nice but the service wasn't. I booked an appointment 3 months ago and I was told I didn't have an appointment, so I booked another one. I got told after I was late but my appointment was at 2:30pm. I had to wait 2 hours just for another appointment. The staff who served me was very nice though.
