Very poor customer service nearly ALL OF THE STAFF are extremely rude, issuing cheap cards that break then accuse us of purposely damaging them! Will be making official complaints to the ombudsman! They need to train staff on their customer service because its diabolical.

Rude , Arrogant staff and they don't hesitate to play the victim and close down your accounts, sick of hearing we're all to blame for their bank cards that mysteriously get damaged by the customer ..... im on the fourth card , wifes on the fifth card and the other members in the que also had the same issue ( just maybe the cards are rubbish ? School hours opening pointless if you actually have to work grown up hours 9 till 5 !

Appalling customer service, they should be ashamed how they treat their elderly customers. No consideration given for individual circumstances.Rude staff , I feel there are definitely training needs in this branch.

Was in Halifax yesterday, Normally it's a very good service,but was very disappointed as to how they actually ignored a elderly lady who was a bit confused and kept getting put back to the end of the queue, was very unsteady on her feet and needed to keep sitting down, in the end I took matters into my own hands and spoke to the people in the Queue and we made sure she was served next. 3 staff 2 serving and the other just sat to one side. Not good customer service.

Just avoid halifax banking terrible service and the way staff talk to you Is a joke .... I've had people get funny with me over why I want my own money .... disgusting place glad I won't be ever going back there

Now don't get to visit a bank in this digital age, but occasional this is required. Popped in today, the staff was really friendly and offered to help as I entered the bank. She was professional and good, deposited my check without any problem. A seamless experience ?

Waiting times for no reason...cash machine doesn't accept the notes i have,a bit wrinkled only 1 person at till , the other sits doing nothing, asked if i need help , said i need to pay at till due to machine not working..she went back to doing nothing while i was waiting 10 more minutes just 1st in queue until the one at till finished...
