No use whatsoever. Spent ages queuing to be told just go home and sort online banking out online... If it had worked online I wouldn't have wasted the time to come in store! No wonder its got two stars. Probably worst bank going. Unhelp and rude!

Mobile App got blocked so had to go in store with ID according to the phone customer services. In store the waiting lines were poorly managed where me and my wife couldn't wait in-store together when other people where in two and three groups. It took over 40 mins to unlock my online banking app.

I open online bank account took my pic I'd and proof of address there they don't even know what proof of address means they started asking me question that how long I been living in UK I said long enough to know what proof of address and photo I'd means irogent staff sent me home two times they sitting tuere mocking people which in not right they dont know what proof of adresss mean they refused to take my other bank statment which is with another bank they refused letters from home office. They should have somebody who knows at least what proof of address is and now I see why they getting so many bad reviews its cos ignorant staff there shame on you

I wanted to transfer money from my Halifax account to our personal bank. Went through vigorous security checks. No problem there as I felt confident and secure with all the checks. I received a telephone call with the required four digit code which was entered, only to be told that I had to telephone them to confirm the transaction. Again, no problem. Valued the added security. Did that, only to be told that we would have to go into the branch. The telephone line was dreadful and I couldn't properly hear. As a result I misheard one question and my wife was prompting me as I spoke. I was then told that as my wife's voice was heard in the background and I misheard a question, bearing in mind we had gone through multiple security questions on line to get to this point, they would not aporove our transaction. I quite understand the need for security and extra vigilance but this was way over the top. Needless to say we will be taking our business elsewhere. When they cannot differentiate between genuine customers and fraudsters there is a definite problem.

It's should be open more late coz it's in a shopping centre its safe so.i think at least 9pm or half 8 coz X mas shopping it would be nice I hope it doae

Every time I visit this branch I am continuously disappointed. Previous visits include precooked mortgage appointments that they have no record of and waiting ages to be seen. My visit today prompted me to write a review as I am patient however itâ??s nothing short of a let down each visit. I queued 20 minuted baring in mind there were only 2 people in front of me to finally get to the counter and be told thereâ??s no change in the building. I find it hard to understand how a bank has no money available for the customers. I was not the only person annoyed having spoken to the lady behind me and also overhearing customers who were behind in the queu. I was approached twice by wondering Staff if I had been seen to which was more annoying, I would much prefer to see an extra body on the counter instead of one and actually assist the customers by serving them as appossed to asking people if they can help but failing to do so when everyone requires counter service. It seems illogical that there are a lot of wandering staff or meet and greeters that are assisting people on â??self serviceâ?? machines but those people waiting for one to one contact with a human being are ignored. This needs to be addressed and I will no longer use this branch. I have previously arranged my mortgage dealings with another branch due to far better service elsewhere.

Terrible branch never been to this branch and there's not a cue, never enough staff on tills always a cue. If halifax knows it's a busy branch and cues are regular why not put more staff on.
24.10.17 still terrible branch lots of staff with ipads but never enough staff serving always a que if they put more on serving instead of walking around with ipads doing not a lot then the ques would not be as bad
23/03/18 staff now try to pressure us into not using the stalls and to use the machines more when u say I would prefer to use a stall they don't give up, I'm not a child I know how I want to use the bank. When I insist I would like to hand my money over to a person your then looked at in a certain way,

The use of this bank usually feels good, and today I am not happy! Always believe that the bank for change this feature! Today was so angry that I took 60 pounds of coins! It was only 55 pounds to go home for a check! It was so angry! I lost 5 pounds in vain.I hope that when you next receive your coins, you will be able to count them and give them to other guests later! Because we believe in the bank! This way we have no way to get back our money!

The â??greeter girlâ? is one of the most obnoxious women I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. No wonder there are so many complaints about this branch if this is the type of staff you employ. No customer service skills and all she seemed to want to do was pass the buck back to the phone banking team who obviously arenâ??t in branch. How hard is it to actually try and help customers instead of fobbing them off just so the branch is empty

Wouldn't except £4 in 50 pence. Needed to be bagged up to the correct amount. What is the world coming to when you can't even put money in to your own bank.

Just shut the branch if you cant out enough staff in one. 45mins of my life wasted there just wanting to change my mobile number, which btw, I did 3 months ago but my account details said otherwise.
