I Bought a pair of homicide wingtip shoes for my wedding a couple of nights ago and I spoke with Rob. He was more than accomodating and even stayed back a bit past closing time as I wasn't easily making my decision. He was knowledgeable and was able to give advice where needed. Highly recommended both him and Mitchel who I spoke with a couple of weeks prior to purchasing. Great staff, great vibe, can't wait to get my next pair ?

The absolute best shoes

Jeffrey-West make the most amazing mens shoes. I've been buying them for a number of years now and will probably continue for many years to come. I really like the Leeds shop, small and friendly, and a real destination for me when in Yorkshire.

This shop specialises in men's footwear and accessories and has a darkly decadent look with blood red walls and disembodied antlers for decoration. This look reflects the shoes, which you could imagine featuring in a Tim Burton film, all quirky takes on more classic and traditional styles with many a dramatically pointed toe, and darkly reflective highly-polished leather. This theatricality comes with a healthy sense of humour and lashings of eccentricity. They also sell accessories such as umbrellas, canes, belts and cufflinks. With shoes up to around £200 and boots up to £300 you won't be paying high street prices, but these shoes are lovingly designed and hand-made in the UK to a high quality.

Jeffery West seems to conjure up images of Dracula and gothic, mundane wolf ridden woods. Think of the darker side of the occult and that is Jeffery West. The shops have been descirbed as a little scary and creepy but really, there is a lot of clever articstic arrangement behind the goods. Quality leather shoes are sold here and you can expect to pay around £135 for some styles. If you are a fan of Schuh's Irregular Choice range then you will most definitely love Jeffery West. They also have an excellent range of mens accessories such as cufflinks. You will find some pretty unusual gifts here for christmas or birthdays. I would imagine that the style conscious indie/gothic type of man would shop here. Don't be put off byt the creepy window displays, the staff won't bite.
