It was a disappointing experience. They charged us £14 for entrance fee to see less than seven cats. I have been to other kitty cafes in different countries and know what a real kitty cafe should be like. If you were looking for all the cats, you should have gone to the corner of the cafe to see the hiding ones. The food and service were at an amateur level. Above all, after one hour, they asked us to leave.

Went with my partner, arrived 5 minutes early to make sure we could get in, forced to wait 15 mins whilst 4 other groups went in front of us. Had to pay a 14 quid fee for the cats protection which was ironic considering I didn't see a single one. Sat down on some uncomfortable chairs and managed to order 15 mins in. Food took 35 mins to get to us, had 5 mins to finish it. Chips and mozzarella sticks were cold and tasted horrible, salad tasted like it was going off. Left after we finished our food but definitely never going back. Staff at reception were rude and didn't listen, however serving staff were lovely so all props to them

We waited 10 minutes baring in mind we only had a hour to eat, we pay £14 for the car charge . Once We sit down and we see some of the cats, When we order they didn?t have much options because they had run out of what I wanted so I had to change my order (wasn?t there fault as much but still) We had been waiting a long time and we hadn?t been asked if we?re okay or an update on the food, the food came out after 45 minutes cold, the salad was Turing moldy and tasted awful, the mozzarella sticks were cold and tasted like cardboard, we didn?t get an apology of how late the food was and we only had 10 minutes to eat.

The staff were very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. The cats were also very well looked after by the staff.

Sorry to say but hugely disappointing. As soon as we got in the door we were charged a 14 quid welfare fee (7 for me and my partner) which even for a place like this is absolutely ridiculous. We both got the halloumi wrap which was just full of raw onions to a literally comical level, basically no halloumi, I'm not even joking it was inedible. Maybe we got a bad plate. I never complain because I work in food service and I know it's not the server's fault at all but this was just a joke.Staff were friendly for the most part but not very helpful or knowledgable about the menu. The cats were lovely. For what you pay for this is very disappointing. It seems like nowadays businesses are more focussed on selling the least product for the highest price over everything.

I went with my mum and my sister cause I thought I?d be a nice experience, as soon as we go in we payed £17 to go in for 3 people, they sat as down and we ordered food. Took them a bit to come ask what we wanted, the service was very slow and it looked like they weren?t sure of what they were doing. Chelsea the supervisor was rude and her face looked like she didn?t even want to be there. They made rules that you had to follow and most of the people with kids just left the kids to go around and run after cats and scare them off. No one really follows the rules when you go in and stuff don?t really care. I don?t usually complain but I came all the way from Manchester and it wasn?t what I expected at all. Hope this helps people that decide to go.

We were told it was fully booked and to come as a walk in at 17:30. We came back later but ten minutes early, as we had come straight from theatre and they told us we still had to wait ten minutes. So we stood outside in the rain for ten minutes looking in, at all the empty seats and tables. Then service was incredibly slow. We ordered two bottled drinks (should be quick) after about half an hour of sitting there trying to get staffs attention. After 45 mins of being there we got our drinks (after prompting a waitress that we were still waiting). Then they told us our time was almost up (you only get an hour). My 5 year old is a slow drinker so did not even get to finish her drink. That's before we talk about the cats. By that time of the day they are probably exhausted of interacting. We did not get to play with, touch or stroke a cat so quite disappointing for my little girl who had quite high expectations or being able to interact with cats. They were sleeping or hiding away with only one cat in the whole cafe wanting to play. It's a nice concept that I have seen executed much better elsewhere. An expensive and disappointing time.

I visited the place on a Sunday. It was quite crowded and the cats didn't really stand out. The concept of the place is nice but the cats aren't as interactive as you'd expect. Overall,It's a nice place with some cute souvenirs. There's something like an entry free of 7 quid which I think is reasonable.

Wonderful atmosphereLeah, our server, was great chatty, friendly and very professional. Answered all our questions. Some parents don't watch their kids tho. Some running wild scaring the cats.Only reason I've not given it a 5 ? is the welfare charge. It wasn't mentioned at time of booking. £19 on top of our food was a little steep when it was just dropped on you when you walked in. Also the kitty meal deal wasn't available and half the menu wasn't either

A neglected shadow of its former self. The food is hugely overpriced and terrible quality, the pizzas particularly. The staff had no idea what was going on. Parents of young kids seem to think it's a crèche and it's ok to abandon their kids to harass the cats and swarm other people's tables.I emailed with a complaint and feedback ccing Nottingham and Birmingham and was completely ignored. I expect the poor standards are systemic. You'll have to have 1 star because I can't give negative stars.

I won?t lie to you, I though Cat Coffee would be way more entertaining than they are. I don?t think there?s anything particularly wrong with this one. The staff were nice and the place was clean and the coffee way okay but my issue, and it?s the main reason why I?m grumpy about my experience, is that the cats are way too used to humans. As in, they are so used to seeing people around that they just don?t care, they don?t care to be touched or played with or anything. The poor things seemed overstimulated by people so they mostly kept go themselves unless someone physically went to them for some fun.
