This is the best possible location for a hotel! It's so close to Trinity mall and the enormous City Centre. I loved our room with two beds, it was just right for our little family. We stayed here for a week in July 2023. The breakfast buffet was delightful, and my favorite person was the lady that had the East End accent. Absolute dolls. This hotel has excellent air conditioning, which is important for a big, sweaty American like me. The gym had a peloton bike and plenty of water for our flask refills.

Great location at City Centre, across from Trinity mall, near many walkable restaurants, train station, and bus lines (including A1 Flyer to airport). There was a small square in front of the building yo enjoy a coffee/donuts from the nearby Doh'Hut. The service was friendly at check-in. The bathroom/tub was clean, which I really appreciated. I also enjoyed their stocked bottles of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. The room was cozy, but came with hair dryer, iron, small fridge with canned spring water. Not all rooms were accesible even with the lift to the floor, there were rooms that you still had stairs. There were also no drawers for clothes, only a small closet to hang some clothing. The elevators also got busy with the new conference held at the hotel. There is an Italian restaurant in the hotel, but didn't try it.

Upgrade through to a suite, great location right next to the main train station in Leeds but a double edged sword as was loud nearby on a Wednesday night with the sounds of partying going until the wee hours.Room was amazing, shame I wasn?t there longer to enjoy it more. Power in the bedroom desk didn?t appear to work but all else good - good amenities and USB-A ports everywhere

No parking lot or valet. Front door was hard to find. Staff was friendly and the executive lounge was good. Toilet didn't fully flush and shower sprayed water everywhere.

This is a very nice place, and floor 3 is very good. The breakfast is very nice, and all staff are extremely friendly it's almost unreal! I definitely recommend. The only problem is that our toilet on room 325 gets blocked very often, which is a nightmare, and the flush button is very hard to press.

I think it?s safe to safe that this is the most beautiful Marriott I?ve ever stayed at. They also have a wonderful selection of food for breakfast. The location is great and yet very quiet and calm. Wonderful experience, would definitely recommend and stay here again.Rooms: Rooms are clean, nice, spacious and tastefully done

The staff were lovely and went above and beyond, the room/general hotel was attractive, and the location was very convenient, but I slept badly in earplugs due to the noisy nightlife. I feel that the hotel could have invested more in soundproofing the rooms, especially as it feels very new and they can hardly be unaware of how ridiculously noisy the area is. The rooms also are weirdly stuffy, even when it's not warm outside.

We booked this hotel very last minute due to problematic accommodation (Park Plaza hotel). We?d been allocated 3 different rooms due to every single one being filthy. By the time we arrived to the Marriott, we were exhausted and worried that we might have a similar experience. The hotel was pristine - room was spotless, bathroom was great and the beds were comfortable. More importantly the customer service was great - Imran on reception was very helpful at trying to get us checked in as soon as possible, even though their systems had just gone down as we arrived. Very pleasant experience and we?d definitely return if we?re at Leeds festival again!

Be warned the hotel does not a car park. Sadly I stopped near the hotel to enquire about a car park. It cost me £60, a fine for stopping near hotel. Hotel itself was basic nothing to recommend. Breakfast was ok, very sloppy scrambled eggs. Rooms are again just ok.

I seldom pen down reviews, however, this experience warrants a warning to potential guests. I write this in the middle of the night, 3:00 am to be exact, from the furnace that is Room 129.The air conditioning in this room is non-existent. We are in the throes of what can only be compared to a sauna. The discomfort is unbearable, and this is not an exaggeration. My family, including my children, are rendered sleepless in this stifling room. A good night's sleep, a primary expectation of any hotel stay, is a distant dream for us tonight. In my opinion, the hotel has failed to deliver on its promises and has not met the basic standards of hospitality. I write this review not out of spite, but out of genuine concern for future guests. I observe similar issue had been encountered by the other reviewers here.Unfortunately, our experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. I hope the management takes this review to heart and makes significant improvements. In the meantime, we regret choosing this hotel for our family vacation.

Had a lovely 2 day stay at the Leeds Marriot. All staff were so accommodating. Our room was a bit noisy due to a nightclub nearby but the lovely Sharon organised a room change for us ( we decided to stay put as we were only there for 2 days) . Sharon went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay. Also Sam in the executive lounge was amazing during a very busy period. He was rushed off his feet but managed to keep everything well stocked with a smile on his face. All in all we had a lovely stay and cannot fault the service we received. Will definitely come again ?

Booked an executive room, (avoid room 361, if you value your sleep), with access to the executive lounge. Room not like the advertising photo, which shows a sofa in the room. The room was overlooking a bar/club which on a night was horrendous. The noise boomed through the whole room, making it impossible to sleep! We left the next day like a pair of zombies - not the relaxing break we had hoped for to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I am also a carer for my adult disabled son, so time away for a break is precious - I came home needing a break! The executive lounge was an eye opener! Full of greedy people shovelling down their necks whatever they could get their hands on. Tables full of dirty glasses, plates etc, which I had to move so we could sit down and have a glass of wine from a tiny glass, as there were no clean wine glasses left. We did not eat in the executive lounge, due to there being nothing left - the plague of locusts had beaten us to it.

I encountered a significant issue with the air conditioning in my hotel room. Despite adjusting the thermostat settings and waiting for a reasonable amount of time, the room remained uncomfortably warm throughout my entire stay. This made it difficult to relax and get a good night's sleep.

Had an excellent 2 night stay for a surprise birthday getaway. My wife sent the hotel birthday decorations in advance, which they decorated the room prior to our arrival. We were able to check in to the room at 1.30pm, which is was an added bonus. Our room - 333 a corner executive room, was a decent size. Marriott beds are extremely comfortable and we had a very restful couple of days. We had an issue with the toilet - the flush didn?t work properly. We reported this to reception and 2 maintenance people came to the room within minutes - and spent almost an hour, replacing the toilet flush button and mechanism. Very friendly and professional. Air conditioning could have been cooler in the room. Breakfast in Gino?s restaurant was plentiful with a good selection. Good quality ingredients. The Executive lounge was well stocked and we could always get a seat when we visited. The only thing to be aware of (not the hotel?s fault) - there are several bus gates around the city. We parked at the Trinity car park on Swinegate (you get discounted parking when staying at hotel). The only way we could find to the car park was via Soverign Street. Just check the road signs when following satnav directions. Will definitely return very soon
