Very insightful look into the most famous Great British retailer. Beautifully presented, warm, light and comfortable museum/archive. And not to forget that it?s free entry. A little off piste but set in a peaceful area of the university campus. Highly interesting to also find out about the lives of some incredible people that have worked for the company over its many years in existence. Definitely worth the short walk from the city centre.

What a lovely surprise for the whole family. Very well hidden on the Leeds University Campus, you really need to know it's there. Free entrance for this small but full of informations and displays museum. I was very impressed by the accessibility for special needs visitors. Sensory backpack available with fidgety toy, heardefenders, and much more. Free refreshments room. Lots to do and see with many interactive corners for adults and children. Loved the dress up section with authentic M&S vintage clothing. We will go back and tell family and friends of this amazing place

Free entry. Worthy to visit if you are fans of M&S. The archie would like to demonstrate the core value of M&S and the inclusion of local farmers and people of different races. There is a tiny cinema playing old advertisement of M&S of different decades. There is a corner for old M&S clothes you can try on and take photo with the special backdrops. There are magazines fixed along with the collection exhibited. It is cool. And there are some gifts exclusive to M&S archive that you can buy near the reception. As a Hongkonger, it is so nice to visit the achieve because there are also M&S in Hong Kong. I suggest a little collection for the M&S history in other parts of the world. Yes, the shirt I was on when I took the flight to UK is M&S.? So many memories....

I took my 4 year old for an event as part of the University of Leeds' "Be Curious" event. The staff were really friendly, helpful and welcoming. The exhibits and activities were great and interactive which made it accessible for both myself and my 4 year old.

It?s small, but there was so much to see and learn in every corner and on every panel. I enjoyed watching the ads from the 50s to 00s, and reading the stories of how M&S had been a part of people?s lives and cherished memories through the years. You could pick up a retro ad poster in the gift shop, and even the receipt is wonderfully nostalgic.

Attended the recent event Raise Your Glasses. We have been to several sessions held at M&S Archives. Always well organised informative and enjoyable. Top marks to the wine presenter and other staff members present. They were extremely helpful to us. Wine presenter was very knowledgeable and passionate about the varied wines offered by M&S.Thoroughly recommend a visit if you have not been before. Beautiful display of M&S windows through the decades. Definitely a trip down memory lane and changing fashions.

Afternoon wine tasting at the M&S archive was informative and fun.All the staff were friendly and approachable. We tasted 6 wines and had nibbles to go with them. We also had the chance to look around the M&S archive display afterwards which was really interesting too. This was a free event! Very impressed. Thanks to all.

I visited the M&S archives to learn about the history of the business and how it has progressed over the years. I found the staff very enthusiastic and Nicola went above and beyond by taking my email address and sending further photographs and information based on my specific interests. I would definitely recommend a visit!
