If I can't be in between 8am and 3pm for a parcel delivery, how am I expected to get to the delivery office between 8am and 10am. The opening times online are wrong.

Staff couldn't give a toss! They put a card through my door on the Wednesday, saying they would automatically try again Thursday...but didn't, despite me waiting in all day!I tried to call, during opening hours, but couldn't get an answer.Absolutely abysmal service, and staff couldn't care less - just told me that if I'd like to complain, I could do it via the website! It's high time the Government opened this up to competition, and then Royal Mail would have to become more customer focused, if they're even bothered about surviving.

Driver failed to ring the doorbell (being deaf doesn't help) and just knocked faintly once before rushing back to his van and driving away. I managed to open the door and waved the package which he saw. He ignored me. Atrocious customer service, which of course we all know. Tried phoning but number unavailable. Is there anyone at Nursery Lane remotely capable of doing their job? My postman always complains about staff morale and I have no doubt it's a lousy place to work. Sort yourselves out managers.

Poor. Some of the postmen are disrespectful and one was downright aggressive, blaming me for having too stiff a letterbox that hurt his hands?!Shouldn't there be a basic level of literacy and numeracy needed to be a postman? I have had loads of post that has never arrived, I have received post for people I've never heard of. My Mail must go to others, I get often my close neighbour's mail and sometimes for places streets away.In Moortown, you cannot trust the postal service.

Excellent. I had a scam on my phone, phoned to check it out and was answered immediately by a very helpful man. He checked that there was not a parcel for me and explained they would not have had my phone number anyway.
Thank you.

Is Google being sarcastic when it has "Suggest new hours" under the current opening times on this listing?

The opening times of the sorting office on Nursery Lane are not convenient to say the least. Why not have one day with extended opening like before on a Wed?

So for working people who aren?t at home to receive a delivery, they open 08:00 till 10:00 although from a quick glance at other reviews here, they can?t even manage that. We are lucky if we get one postal delivery a week these days. With some letters taking 2-3 weeks to arrive. Regularly we get post for other properties and vice versa. They strike for better pay and conditions, but with the appalling service currently provided, it?ll be a wonder if they manage to keep the domestic post monopoly. A perfect example of a don?t care staff allowing a business to collapse before their eyes .

Their workers have no regards to your post. And intentionally damage it. I recently had a fragile parcel delivered which was meant to be signed for. The postman didn?t bother to knock and squeezed it through my letter box. Which resulted in a £100 loss for me as it was a collectors item.

Strange opening times, 8 am to 10 am and sometimes closed even earlier! No parking at all! They are even closed during strike action! Once your parcel on the way to this place, you are in a big trouble to collect the item! If you working full time Redelivery is not an option either!

If I could I gave ZERO star ?? Absolutely rubbish service. There?s two hours open 8:00 to 10:00 but you can collect your parcel till 9:30

Disgraceful! Why have this awful option which is impossible to access for most people. Useless ?often picking up items which would fit through my letter box. Also never any parking because all the staff park outside.

Not a good experience. i had no idea times had changed and no sign on the door to advise of open hours change, so had no clue. I ask a member of staff round the back driving out who eventually advises of the change, as there is some talk about the strike first, as I had assumed that is why they were closed. I tell her the change of hours should be communicated on the door to let people know, she says its on the website. Do I have to check every time I go to any place of business. I have to listen to her misrepresent my point about my not knowing and I'm not checking the website on the off chance you've changed something that has remained constant for as long as I can remember. She accuses me of being argumentative and opens the van and gets out, just to get immediately back in. So in sum, i go to the post office, they shut two hours earlier than i knew and im just expected to know and then deal with disgruntled staff when asking them. To be fair to her she should not be put in that position. Do better royal mail.

Open 8-10 each day. No afternoons. Staff block the few parking spaces available

Pathetic opening times. People are working longer hours and are often not at home when a delivery is attempted. They will try and get to the delivery office before or after work. No wonder people are switching to private couriers
