“Visited the store in Cross Gates for the first time this afternoon, clean, well organised and a good choice of products. Only fault was, one till open and nowhere to put your basket, area was full of stuff, serviettes, crisp box etc. The young girl serving was excellent,quick and calm dispite the long queue,ten out of ten for her!”

“Love shopping at time bargains, it's one of my favourite shops. They sell alsort at really reasonable prices. Also I'm disabled so have to use a mobility scooter, and I find home baegains one of the best place to use it, unlike similar shops, home bargains isles are clear and easy to get up and down, so it makes it so much easier for me. The staff are always very friendly too. So it a pleasure to shop here. Would 100% recommend it.”

“It's a decent size sainsburys, good size free underground car park with stair and ramp access. Fuel / petrol for sale usually best price in the area but no car wash. Shop is very clean and tidy but occasionally seems to have very bare shelves. They used to keep hiding the smart shopping QR Code... but have finally stopped!”

“I was super pleased that my thermos cups were in plentiful supply and even at a reduced price, impressive. I think that the store is so used that my other item, value socks were not available and I was disappointed. I love wandering around the mugs section being an avid tea drinker as there is so much choice, always something new I fancy within the mugs. Will look forward to my next trip too!”

“A rather average supermarket in the city centre. Can be a little hit and miss with the stock but that's probably due to being one of the more popular for residents that live in the centre.Good range for a smallish store with smartshop available.Queues can be really long at peak time (17:30 - 18:30) and they never seem to have any staff on the checkouts so do bear that in mind if this is something that you would normally require. They do have lots of self service checkouts and the majority of them are usually in working order.”

“really am going to have to take photos,did a bit of shopping with my friend and her daughter ,hell of a difference in shopping prices compared to Morrisons,OK its a bit further to go but still save quite a lot of money ,and it's easy to walk round but only thing was that no fish fingers, I love fish fingers but not the ones I like ,that's haddock breaded ,never mind ?”

“It's fine for a Lidl. I find it very dark though. The lighting is poor. Staff are a laugh. I only go occasionally when in the area. Bakery section is good and the middle aisles. It's worth a visit.”

“This is a great little store , convenient with a decent range , friendly and welcoming staff .The Sandwich range is really good and there's lots of products to pick up for tea , lunch breakfast .They also do a great service where you can order on line from the main website and collect for free in store .”

“The manager at this branch went out of his way to deliver essential groceries to a very elderly couple who live nearby, but couldn't get out due to the bad weather. This is not a service that they normally offer and he went out of his way. I think this example of outstanding customer service should be recognised and I would like to thank him.”

“This Aldi has had a complete makeover recently. Lots of chiller cabinets to keep fruit and veg etc fresh. All the regular products available. And the addition of Self-Checkout Registers.”

Not a lot to say really - well stocked store, staff friendly enough and because of where the site is positioned at a junction, it has multiple entry and exit points. As others have said though, could do with a 'petrol only' till to avoid getting stuck behind grocery shoppers.”

“It is a very good local store. However, when I visited today just before midday, it appeared that the young man on the till was also texting on his phone. In my opinion, full attention should be paid to the customer and phones stored away.”

“Ehhhh overall ok prices and staff but always busy and messy unruly kids running up and down isles. Also prices on things like 500g of 20% beef what's gone from £1.78 to £2.15 in one go”
