The Merrion Centre in Leeds is the second largest shopping centre in the city. Although I much prefer the larger Trinity Leeds nearby, they still have a nice selection of brands here, and the location being right by the First Direct Arena is useful to hop in without much of a detour before a show. As of January 2024, it's the 41st largest shopping centre in the UK in terms of retail space at 74,100 meters squared in area. Parking is expensive, and it's shared with the arena nearby, rates start at £3.50 for one hour, but when you're parking in a city you always seem to get similar rates. The inside of the shopping centre looks ordinary pretty much like any mall which opened in the UK around the 60s/70s. It's easy enough to follow the layout, there is a large map which shows not only the shops inside the centre, but the rest of Merrion Way, including the outlets just outside including Pizza Express, Starbucks and the Co-Op, and then leading to the arena and Ibis Hotel. There is a large Morrisons supermarket located here and an Amazon Hub featuring two Amazon Lockers for deliveries/returns. There are many budget shops located here which you might not find elsewhere in the city centre including Iceland, Heron Foods and Home Bargains and one or two charity shops. 3* - OK, the shopping centre isn't somewhere you'd go out of your way to visit, luckily due to being within the city centre of a big city, you don't have too, useful if you're looking for a specific store here but otherwise it's just another reasonable addition to Leeds' shopping scene.

I bought an iPhone 15 pro max & even though I have a SIM card contract with three I still had to have to pay £10 for a pay as you go SIM card that is pretty much useless to me. This is the fault of the shop , I have been a customer with three for over 25 years so I find this not to be fair , why should I pay for a pay as you SIM card when I have a SIM card contract with three & NOT told by management on this purchase.I went back to the shop to complain about this & the assistant manager who dealt with my issue agreed with me that it was not right , so in a way to solve the issue I was given an Apple plug which cost more than the pay as you go SIM card. I am pleased with the outcome & I appreciate the way he dealt with this as it made me feel valued. I think three need to look at the loyal customers & not make them pay for pay as you SIM card especially when you have already have a contract SIM card. I was advised this issue will be raised at a higher level, but I don?t believe them. Overall I should have been given upgrade not another SIM card that is no use to me . Oh Nearly forgot to mention I got £189 for my iPhone 7 because I traded it in , now that?s good. ? if I was sold an upgrade which that is exactly what it was, iPhone 7 to a iPhone 15 pro max , I would not have been charged £10 for a pay as you SIM card & that is an error by the manager, was it done on purpose, I would hope not, but surely he must have known ?????

I contacted Three online after losing my iPhone on 3rd October. They blocked it so no-one could use it until I got a replacement which happened on 6th October this year, and the online staff promised that a PIN would be delivered in 1-3 days. I happen to be 86 years old and don't get around very well. When nothing happened by 19th October, I gave up and went to the Three Shop in the Merrion Centre. Two very resourceful staff couldn't have been more helplful in restoring the service. A great experience.Pat Tempest

I apologise in advance for not remembering their names but the assistant manager and an employee with very blue eyes helped me and my partner yesterday and they were incredibly helpful and kind! Would not go to the three in town as it's always busy - so glad we were helped by these lovely gentlemen instead!

I have 3contract. Some day I visit to my friend house and my phone showing no service. I thought may be her house reception problem. When I home same problem. I call three from my husband phone and complaint about problem they?re said. We'll check do investigation. Than they?re nothing doing and my number blocked and my contract send to credit. I really don?t understand what?s going on.They?re took money from me. Make my credit damage without any reason.
