Our first visit to Yo, the staff didn't explain very well even though we said it was our first visit, no atmosphere, chef shouting when is his break in front of everyone, food was lovely, I questioned the rewards points afterwards and was told I should have asked earlier it's too late now I've paid?? Wouldn't return just because of the staff

My experience at Yo Sushi in Leeds Trinity was a mixed bag. The flavors of the food were undeniably good, offering a delightful journey through Japanese cuisine. However, the downside was the portion sizes, which left me wanting more. The tantalizing bites were over too soon, and I found myself contemplating whether to order more or explore other options.The ambiance, while not extraordinary, was acceptable. The restaurant had a casual vibe, but it didn't particularly stand out in terms of decor or atmosphere. It provided a decent setting for a quick meal, but it didn't leave a lasting impression.On a positive note, the staff at Yo Sushi was notably friendly and accommodating. Their warmth added a pleasant touch to the dining experience, making up for some of the shortcomings. Their attentiveness and willingness to assist with menu choices contributed positively to the overall atmosphere.

I've been twice, and each time the Korean chicken balls have been very dry and there was hardly any rice. I dont recommend them at all. Definitely order something else on the menu. The other food was okay tho! However I won't be going to that yo sushi again.

Went on the 30/11 for an evening and it was a very poor experience.We started off waiting quite a while to be seated. The restaurant was very cold.We had one server and I think he was waiting the whole place. To be fair the guy working was polite and was trying his best but was way too stretch. It was hard to get his attention when we needed folks, sauces and more miso soup. It was a very long wait for food and then we were told some items were out of stock because they didn?t get a delivery.We ordered some further items but again another long wait. After 25 minutes we cancelled the items and asked for our bill. We paid the service charge which was annoying as the service was very very poor. I won?t be coming back to this yo sushi place.

I ordered on the app and the food arrived quickly and was very delicious, the staff were attentive and one of the chefs even offered me a small sample of their tuna for free just to try. Really nice. Turned a bad day into a good one. Thank

Came here on a Friday and it was the most bizarre experience.When we arrived the restaurant was maybe 1/3 full and we were asked to come back in 15 minutes as it was busy. We asked if we could just sit and wait and that's what we did. We got sat down at the table but we had to help ourselves to menus. Everyone arrived afterwards was also told the same but no one was leaving so the 15 min rule would not be helping solve the 'busyness'. One group were told come back in 15 mins, they did and then gave up after being seated due to the poor service.The food came out at a normal speed but the portion sizes were definitely smaller than other yo sushis. However it took ages for our drinks to arrive and we were not the only table asking for their drinks to be given. We ordered a green tea in the order and we were given luke warm tea. Also trying to get a glass for a fanta we had ordered was difficult as well. When asked for a refill of the tea we basically got told he was busy and we would just have to wait.The person on the floor of the restaurant seemed very very overwhelmed and possibly needed more support rather than being on his own. He seemed to be not coping well and was not happy every time a delivery request came through.When we came to pay, it seemed the table before had done a runner (possibly due to the bad service, who knows) so we had to work out how much we owed.Seems more staff and support is needed at this place so better management.The food itself was fine, just on the small side.

Hygiene issues in fact I?ve reported them to health safety we arrived chef also washing up food waste everywhere on counters all over the floor I decided to video it and show the so called manager. He made the excuse it was the new chef and he was not in the kitchen but out back what upper rubbish the food waste has been there I would say hours. He did but charge me anything but we touched hardly any food before leaving manager should be sacked it was not the chef fault

Best service ever! Nicest staff, kind and considerate. The food was fresh and nice, portions are never generous but nothing unheard of. Would recommend for a good sushi fix!

I liked the experience and teste. Personel was very helpful. The only point that can be improved is the size of the portions. It seemed to me small.I took YO! mix, miso soup, and brewgooder shibuya rice lager

Lovely food and atmosphere as always, staff were helpful, but did seem a little rude and abrupt at times. Would still go back! Highly recommend the tofu parcels!.

This place has a great location. The service was slow, I don't think they hired enough people for the early dinner rush. The food was just okay and the conveyor belt choices didn't look great. I guess I'm spoiled living in So Cal. It's very easy to order though.

Sushi is edible at best, but not fresh nor particularly tasty.The hygiene standards and cleanliness are not up to scratch. Cutlery wasn't as clean as you'd like at a restaurant.Parking: Trinity car park

The portion size of my 2good2go bag was literally spit in the face levels of insulting.They have trouble keeping tables clean and tidy when it gets later in the evening. If you want sushi go literally anywhere else.

Really disappointing visit after having an excellent experience at another Yo! restaurant previously. Cold room and unwelcoming atmosphere. Beer glasses were dirty. Service very slow. Belt wasn't working which is one of the reasons we enjoy and come to Yo sushi. They couldn't be bothered heating up edamame beans so had them cold and they were absolutely flavourless. The rest of the food was very tasty and thanks to the staff member who allowed us to try fresh tuna free of charge - we do appreciate this. However , the menu is really expensive and the food nor experience was worth what we paid.

Conveyor belt was out of order, food was very slow to come out to us and was very mid. This Yo Sushi used to be really good but now its overpriced and sad. The staff also looked really miserable. Ordered a spicy tuna poke bowl and it was ok but the salad on it looked like it was cut a week ago, very dry. Wouldn't recommend.
