I went into Otley Postoffice to send off a few parcels, whereby I was greeted by the Post Master with a friendly smile, she went out of her way to help me and went above and beyond. Excellent customer service - lovely tidy Postoffice that offers a number of services!

Excellent service from Otley Post Office. Always bright and cheerful and very helpful. Now all banks have gone from the high street Otley Post Office can deal with most banking needs and can provide foreign currency. Basically a one stop shop for all your banking and Post Office needs dealt with by friendly, helpful staff!

they absolutely work their backsides off in here and people need to give them a break. The woman serving me needed an OBE for how she responded to an absolute jobsworth just hassling her for the queue's size - she did such an amazing job doing passports for my 3 and 5 year old and she needed it like a hole in the head. she was incredible the whole time, understaffed, should have been at home she was so poorly, and she was just lovely the entire time. (blonde lady, on the travel money bit on monday). Patience of a saint. Five stars!

Two of the lovely staff members at Otley Post Office helped me to submit my passport renewal application even though I was very late for my appointment. We made it with five minutes to go before closing time. Very much appreciated. Thank you

Don't often use this branch, definitely won't be going there again. Withdrew some cash today and asked if I could have four £5 notes. Was told I could only have two and the reason given was "what if everyone asked for the same thing". With most of the banks closing in Otley then what are we expected to do if this is the standard of customer service we are receiving from the post office, very disappointing.

WARNING: To anyone thinking of working here my advice, keep looking.A simple mistake will cost you. Even if there?s no evidence of you making a mistake, losses will be taken from your wages. I was eventually paid back the full amount, but I had to fight for it. I also know of other colleagues who have had significantly larger amounts deducted from their wages. This practice is totally unethical, especially for a minimum wage employee during a cost of living crisis. We were often very understaffed. However, we were told the reason why customers were queueing out the door was because we were too slow and we needed to work faster and faster. This only increased the likelihood of making mistakes that would be taken from our wages. Finally if you?re applying having seen 'long term career progression', all you can expect is more hours and more responsibility with no additional pay. Additionally despite being promised that I would only be working three days per week because I had another job, we were so understaffed I was pressured into constantly working six days per week between my two jobs. You?re welcome to apply, but have been warned
