PLEASE DO NOT USE AT ALL COSTS.Would mark as zero stars if I could.Suffering with extreme mental health issues I was given the wrong medication, when I went back in after speaking with the doctors I gave back the paid for wrong prescription and asked for my most recent prescription. To which several Cohens rude and ignorant staff members told me I had to pay for another prescription, when I told them I couldn't and it was their mistake they refused to give me any of the perscribed medication and then refused to give me a refund for the mistake prescription I paid for.After then speaking to the lovely staff at Northgate Surgery they called on my behalf to ask for the perscribed medication to which was still refused. The ignorant staff at Cohens have also said I cannot go in anymore due to me getting teary ad upset due to mental illness. (I was NOT verbally or physically abusive to any of them just explained that the issue I have could soon to life changing to which they sniggered at).Clearly the team need to go on some customers service training and learn respect for the many people that use their services.Thanks to the staff members at cohens chemist I am now back under the care of the Crisis Team. Hope they are happy!!!!!!

Just been to cohens on Northgate Close, Pontefract.Pharmacist chewing gum which I didn?t think appropriate.Then 3 staff , ignoring the queue, chatting about their rebate! One member of staff reading from her phone in a loud voice explaining her rebate from somebody!No professional service what so ever. A disgrace

Cohens failed to flag up that a medication review was due so didn?t deliver my elderly Mother?s prescription. This is not the first time this has happened and we were given no warning about this. I am assured by the surgery that Cohens have a duty of care to do this. In fact, Cohens told me that they do flag it up with customers who collect prescriptions but have not got the time to do it for prescriptions which are delivered. Given that the people who get deliveries are most likely to be the most vulnerable people in our society, this is a gross failure of their responsibilities and appalling customer service. I asked for the review dates of the medication so that I could diarise it to prevent medication being stopped without warning but was told they couldn?t do this. Other chemists simple insert a reminder slip with the delivery when the review is due but Cohens are not prepared to do this. They told me that I was trying to put the responsibility on them. I was, because not only would it be good practice to do so, it IS in fact their responsibility.

Absolutely shocking customer service. Had to queue over 30 mins to pick up a repeat perception. The whole of behind the counter is all over the place baskets everywhere, with staff not having a clue what's in them and who they are for. I will not be using again. Service is in disarray!

This pharmacy is the best pharmacy in Pontefract and surrounding areas. The staff are brilliant and efficient considering that Lloyd's chemist in the centre of town closed down. The staff are always helpful and nothing is too much trouble.Thank you guys.

I don?t normally write bad reviews. But this pharmacist really needs to work on his customer approach. Really rude pharmacist who embarrassed me in front of the whole line of people, asked me personal questions in front of everyone instead of pulling me aside. I didn?t want to air my dirty laundry about my ongoing issues in front of whole line of people. But he refused to listen to my request and did not help.

Still closed on a Saturday. No good for shift workers etc . Not good for a chemist when all other shops are now open . Only get chance to call Saturday . Come on cohens reopen on a Saturday!! Now open Saturday morning ??
