The Pontefract branch is what might, in bygone years, have been a"corner shop". Staff are pleasant and helpful. They stock basic frozen food and a small offering of fresh food, but probably struggle to compete with nearby Tesco and Morrisons supermarkets, who stock a wider variety of goods and are open for longer, more convenient opening hours.

Yes they have changed they put the prices up but they're not the only one I just don't get it you can go one day the prices at 1 price go the next day and it's gone up 10 p they're not the only ones who are doing that all all the retail companies are doing it

Cramped. Full of older folk blocking up the narrow Isles without a care in the world. Impossible to take your time with your shop in there as just too pressured due to inconsiderate people and a cramped layout of shop. Which is a shame as they have a great choice of frozen food which you can't take your time and browse.
