On a recent visit to saltire for a meeting we had time to spare so had a walk up the Main Street ,we were passing the Age uk shop and our eyes were drawn to the windows of the shop they were set out so lovely and looked interesting that we ventured inside to have a look at what other things would be on display, on entering we were met by a lovely warm greeting from the 2 ladies working whose names we found out to be Tina and Diane both were so helpful with any questions we had both had a great sense of humour and were having banter and laughs with the customers that were there it was a lovely atmosphere, the shop itself was so tidy and well stocked with a great variety of products a real Aladdin?s cave, we hear that the high streets of the country are struggling and shops are closing if a lot of these shops had the warm welcoming reception from staff that we received here they would be doing a lot better. Tina and Diane and the shop are a credit to the company and in Arnold?s words We will be back

Lots of stock, and a well laid out little charity shop. But the prices are so much higher than Shipley!

Brilliant charity shop! Lovely, helpful staff and great bargains. Have donated and bought items here for years. Great charity, worth supporting. Old age comes to us soon enough.

the marvel book I wanted from here was way over priced she wanted £20 for it.. who on this earth would pay for a marvel book when you can get that cheaper brand new.. I think she wanted it for herself. to pricey this shop?

They're fine but quite fussy if you want to drop stuff off - I'd suggest children's society just a few doors down, they're grateful for anything they receive
