I love Asda. Has always been my favourite supermarket, and I will travel out of my way to go here rather than somewhere else. However, over the last 18 months or so, staffing seems to have become an issue. Little or no staff in the George clothing section, which is a problem when you need assistance. Also why is there 10-15 isles of women and children?s clothes, and about 2 for men? Do men not need to wear clothes? My main problem now though is with the self service checkouts. You expect us to process and checkout ourselves, but yet there is never anyone available when something goes wrong? The other day I counted 11 red lights on, and 1 (yes, one) staff member. I?m sorry but this is not good enough. If you want us to checkout ourselves, then at the very least provide us with the support we need. After all, you?ve saved a fortune in staff since self service units were installed. Even the staff member who did eventually come said she was so stressed as there was only her on helping customers. If you value your customers and/or staff, then do something about this quickly, or you are likely to loose both. People will only have patience for for this sort of thing for so long. Your prices have gone up, but your customer care has dwindled.

Not sure what?s happened to this store in the last 18 months but the stock levels are appalling. Nearly every aisle is barren and this isn?t just in an evening before re-stock this is all the time. Used to be a brilliant store, it?s a shame. There?s never any sizing in baby cloths above 6-9 months. The meat aisle is always empty and the baby food is non-existent to mention a few. You must be losing unbelievable amounts of money just due to poor stock/store management.

Very poor store. Stock very low, not just low but very very low. Theres more above the shelves than there is on the shelf itself. The brothers have ruined asda. Completely ruined it. It needs to go back to previous staffing levels to ensure the place remains fully stocked. Im sure the bosses are aware that in order to make money they need to sell products. And in order to sell products they need to have them on the shelf.Im sure this store is ready for shutting down. Its a disgrace to the associated dairys humble beginnings.

Not happy with the ASDA eyeglasses service. They were quite happy to sell me a pair but brushed me off unceremoniously on making a query. Very poor quality product, very poor service.

Great store but my daughter has severe anxiety and social anxiety, she also has bad experience with men. While she was getting sweets at asda a male worker with pink hair approached her and thought that she was stealing when she was just getting money off of her bag, he asked her to open her bag and there was nothing in it. She got a panic attack later on after the worker left. Is this how you treat all of your costumers from kettlethorpe? Like they are stealing? My daughter had to calm HERSELF down without any workers noticing. This is very dangerous because she could do stuff like self harm without me knowing. Good thing she went straight to me and told her the problem. Pls hire better workers. Sincerely Miss Muncada

Stocking levels are very very poor here. The store is badly managed and poorly staffed. On frequent visits there are never any trolley near the entrance, you have to go roaming around carpark to find one. When you do find one they almost always have annoying issues with wheels as they are not maintained.

Simply gone downhill. For a start they are stocking toys that kids arn?t intrested in. Secondly it is very dark with the only positive about this place is that the health and beauty isles are light. Thirdly really rude staff. Chucking stuff in the bin while customers are checking out there items? Staff are also laughing around not helping customers. The store entrance and there uniform say there always happy to help but they arn?t. I decided not to ask them where were the bags due to there unkindness. Improve improve improve please. Won?t go back. I?ll go to Glasshoughton instead.

Been a customer of this store for many, many years but not no more..my business will go to Morrisons going forward as the lack of staff on the tills resulting in queues halfway up the Isles is extremely poor. Its not just an isolated occasion but the last few times we have visited now. The emphasis appears to be on self scanning perhaps to save money on resource and further increase their huge profits. Not everyone wants to self scan or self check out. I feel for some of the elderly who are maybe not tech savy. Xmas promises to be a joke! Goodbye ASDA and hello Morrisons!

20 minutes of my life, I will never get back queuing to actually get to a till, to give someone my money to buy my food... what a crazy notion ? It has never been as badWhat has happened to supermarkets where there are 4 tills open for the whole store on a weekend. All the self check had huge queues too, but when doing the big shop, they just dont work !!!...All queues over halfway down the Isles, so you actually can't even get to the product you want to buy, so you can wait half an hour to pay for it!Even the staff picking for home delivery were complaining to each other how bad it was to the guys restocking selfs.. when your staff on the floor can see it. Why don't you?Asda, take a look at your approach to customer service !! Terrible !It was like going at Christmas , but I do expect some small delays for the holiday season, not on a Sunday in September

I think it?s completely unacceptable that you will do ticket anyone who parks in a disabled spot but you let the child parking be a free for all caught a man parked in a child?s spot came out with a bag of shopping and the clear sense over over entitlement. What do you actually expect people to do if anyone and everyone parks in child spaces where do the people with kids that need the space actually park I attached photos of the car and man due to the threat he can do stuff about it ??
