It was just a very positive experience from start to finish. I was quite nervous, not having been to the opticians in many years. All the staff were very welcoming and put me at my ease instantly. Lovely service throughout the whole process.

The sight test was carried out well and professionally but I was left a long time to choose new frames without any member of staff approaching me to see if I was OK. When I eventually asked someone came but sat me on a position where I couldn't see the selected frames without moving the chair which was awkward. I had to ask for some advice before any was offered. Also I realised after I returned home that I hadn't been given my prescription which is normally supplied despite having paid on full for the glasses. I left after spending over £300 feeling quite disgruntled

Tuesday 5th March 2024 14.15 opposite the cathedral in Wakefield I was greeted not long after I had walked in, despite being busy and was seen to quickly for an eye scan and test. I was through these quickly and thoroughly and was extremely pleased with friendly lady who scanned my eyes and the chap who assessed my eyes and let me know what was going on and informed me of how my eyes health was doing, and wasn't long till i was picking glasses. The team was so patient and helpful, explaining what I didn't understand and helping me pick glasses that suited me best. Michael was excellent: kind, friendly, patient, knowledgeable and made me feel at ease picking glasses and genuinely assisting me on what was best for me instead of a quick or high sale. Michael and the team went above and beyond to find many examples to explain and show, even using different staff glasses to explain and show different elements of glasses for me to choose the best for me. The lady while I sat downstairs after trying on many different glasses and narrowed it down from so many options with Michael, was so helpful, friendly, brilliant as she went through the different options and doing measurements to my eyes with the glasses. I'm sorry I didn't catch her name, Sauce then came in and did the double check and no problems at all. Thank you ever so much to the team, it was so lovely how you guys went above and beyond for me, helped me find the best deal for me and had a good sense of humour and made me feel at ease with such a big personal decision that enabled me to get three pairs of glasses, which I really wanted a new pair for eyes ASAP, and also helped me get the best pair of prescription sunglasses which I've never had before. 12/10 customer service, helpful advice, thorough job, above and beyond and a brilliant bunch of people. Thank you ever so much, looking forward to picking them up soon. EXCELLENT.
