“I’d been working in home care for about 8 yrs but had lost all confidence in the company I was working for. I was ready to give it up completely. However I’d seen the Phoenix Care offices on Denby Dale road and decided to give them a call. ‘Nothing to lose’ I thought. Went in for a chat and spoke to Jo on a very informal basis. Got a really good vibe that day.Following more formal processes I was subsequently offered a position and I have not regretted accepting.Jo, Jez and their team are very ‘hands on’ And know all their clients and carers personally. .. not just numbers on a spread sheet here... Always someone to talk to, get advice/help.This company genuinely has the care of its people at heart.Home care is not a job for the faint hearted .. nor is it brilliant pay. It can be physically and emotionally challenging and things don’t always go to plan. “Highly recommend caremark Wakefield, as I work for Caremark in Wakefield; as they are a good company to work for if you are interested in for the company they will do rota and think to what you want but you have to ask don’t I can do this because that what you will get if you speak to them and explain that you can’t do thing them they will help and accommodate your need and the office staff are all lovly and are they to talk to you about anything if you need them for any concerns, all the cares are lovely to work with too and if you every need anything the office staff are there to help don’t be scared to ask they are more than happy to help, everyone that works for the company is amazing to work for happy to be work for this company they are very understanding and happy to help where it is need.”

Money cannot replace the caring and contact that a human being gives in a persons last days, unfortunately you were not able to stay on and provide your caring services because of other commitments.
