Went into HSBC Branch today ..I haven't been in a Branch for years.I was kindly and curtisously seen by a young lady called Marie who was so dedicated, understanding caring personally and efficient.She made me feel at ease, no rush and gave a fantastic professional assistance.Recommend the branch and this fantastic lady

Absolutely no point to this branch. No counter and was advised to use a post office. All daft machines but with several staff doing nothing.Close it down.

I have banked with HSBC for 2 years. It has not been pleasant experience I am afraid. The only way to get the message across that the service you receive is simply not good enough is to move. That is precisely what I am doing.

Closed for renovations and have not bothered updating their hours to reflect the fact that they are closed. Sign on door recommended going to the Dewsbury branch instead.

Really poor service!! Tried to use my HSBC branch today with no luck needed to pay a cheque in (which was too much to do online) and a little cash but branch only likes to open at 10am (must enjoy a late start every day!) and closes at 2pm ( always nice to get an early finish!) The problem is I like most people work 8-5 or later ..... no problem I will pay it in on the weekend ....... oh no you will not !!! closed on a weekend. Its because of the pandemic apparently (is the virus more active on a Saturday really?)I know I will ask my wife to go in during their opening hours ...... oh no other persons are not allowed to pay monies into my bank (apparently my wife could be a money launderer!)So I have been advised to send it via the postal service but photocopy everything fist in case it it gets lost (HSBC has refused to reimburse the cost of posting).Do I receive a discount on charges due to the vastly reduced services ....let me think!!!

Terrible, branch has been shut completely for last two days, no phone number to ring to check if back open, added to reduced hours it is open at present due to Covid, this has made business banking with the branch near impossible. The telephone number given for the branch is the generic HSBC one and constantly on hold....come on HSBC give us a break and start listing branch telephone numbers and be a bit more customer savvy.

Called the bank 5 times today and spent on average 34 mins and each agent told me something different each time I called. What a joke this bank is! This is meant to be a highly regarded international bank??? More like a nig joke of a bank and making money off peoples phone calls. They have today lost a customer... I'm banking with Starling Bank, a propa fintech company with real customer service.

Had trouble with a cash machine today, it was taking along time to give me the money I asked for, as I was waiting a lady came and went to another machine next to it, so I said excuse me to the assistant to help me out I didn't know if the machine was faulty, but she was not a nice person, very condescending and sarcastic, well excuse me for interrupting your supposed work day, she's not a very nice person and should not be working with people.
