This post office is useless its never open it has the times it should be open on the door but it never is. Its a complete waste of time please can the post office put more reliable occupants in and therefore te community can have a reliable post office back.

When it's open it's fine. Thereby lays the problem. It is hit and miss whether you find it open during advertised opening hours. Very very frustrating. Copley Lane very reliable.

The Postmaster here has just gone above and beyond despite my tardiness...! Re-opening up the desk just after he closed it for dinner break. Excellent customer service. Top man!

Remember all that fuss about saving small post offices? Well this is why! Carlton post office is truly the centre of the village providing counter services (durrr), groceries, stationery and local news updates (AKA gossip). The wonderful Nora is the sort of friendly, helpful lady that literature invites us to believe inhabits every rural post office in England.
