The beds are clean and v comfortable. The carpets in the room and corridors like a 1970s bar on a cross channel ferry. Like an episode of Auf Wiedersehen, Pet. The bathroom had too many pubic hairs that didn't belong to me. Not clean. But for 35 quid, it's hard to complain. . And the staff, we're ever so friendly.

Exactly what you expect from a budget hotel, it was in a good location and very quiet. The carpark is big and you give your registration to the front desk to get free parking.I think the cleaner got distracted halfway through cleaning our bathroom, their cleaning supplies were still there and there was poo in the toilet.Overall, you get what you pay for

Perfect location for a quick stopover traveling between places. Good value, clean and tidy room. Our room was quiet so we were happy. Shower was good. Starbucks across the road is a plus and Free parking.

It is disgusting here dirty and run down sanitary towels in the bin and dirty rooms very run down. Homeless people are rehomed here and drugs and drinking outside children running up and down the corridors we were relocated at our expense to another near by travelodge which was a little better. Travelodge customer services are rude and trying to get a refund is proving very difficult the only good thing is the lady im charge of reception who was very helpful and embarrassed for the company.

it is hard to write bad reviews, because you have to remain subjective but my gawd I am struggling on this one. I am satisfied that the staff members are far more superior than the accommodation. Well done Andrea. massive massive thank you for helping us leave and I am sorry you have to work in such conditions. it was disgusting. Delameire Services M4 West bound Travelodge is old, run down, bleached carpets, fences buckets from pipe leaks in entrance corridor, court drinking persons blocking the entrance door, heroin addicts shooting up outside in the dark corner, no lighting for disabled persons outside - my partner is blind - bedroom carpets grossly dirty, mould around soap boxes, sanitary towels in bin, shower heads broken and here's the big one -parties in the ground floor hallway! What the actual? Truly disappointing, I made a huge mistake dipping my feet into using Travelodge, I cannot support this and I will try and get my money back. On the day in question we literally stayed five mins and went to another Travelodge in chippenham. that one wasn't too bad, but again dirty carpets. Please don't think I am a moaner by heart, I travel a lot, and I just feel compelled to point out that which we all want from a place - hygiene, clean premise and respect for our space where we sleep - with our children ok and our families feeling safe. This is not it. The previous negative reviews are true.

I have never ever seen a Travel lodge so dirty. The hallway carpet looked like somebody had been sick on it and then people have wheeled trolleys and walked through it and spread it everywhere. In the room, nobody had been to clean it. There were no toilet rolls at all (just an empty toilet roll). The toilet and sink had not been cleaned. There was no hand soap. There was not enough towels and no cups. There was no air conditioning and it was SO hot, but being next a motorway it was so noisy. The beds were awful and very hard, Never ever again. This was all raised with the staff but nothing was done.

Our room was absolutely fine and for a motorway service area, it was very quiet. There are no parking spaces outside the hotel though and to get to it from the car park involved crossing the exit route for all cars back onto the motorway. I was glad not to have much luggage or young children.

Dirty, run down, very poor facilities. Had one uncleaned room with no toilet paper, swapped to cleaner room but with no bathroom light! In need of complete renovation (or knocking down!). Reception staff pleasant & understanding, but cannot recommend this place to anyone.

The room was filthy with cob webs everywhere, used tissue on the floor and under the bed, blocked sink, dirty bed linen, broken socket and like a sauna. We were moved to another room which was also dirty and like a sauna. The bed was comfy but didnt sleep due to the heat

We broke down on the M4 in the early hours of the morning. Travelling with two small children, two elderly dogs and a cat, we?d resigned ourselves to an uncomfortable night in the car waiting for the AA to tow us home. I think only a parent could understand our sheer unbridled delight upon discovering there was a hotel able to accommodate us. Georgia on reception gave fantastic customer service. She was so patient and helpful, and definitely exceeded our expectations at half three in the morning. The room was clean, comfortable and good value for money, but it was the customer service that was outstanding. Very grateful to Georgia!

Exactly as expected for a budget hotel. Absolutely fine for a night. Clean enough, bed is comfy enough. If you need a no thrills situation then it suits.

Staff are great and do what they can but when your charging near premier inn prices - you really need to revamp - the place is so run down and don?t get me started on carpets.

Perfect pit stop if you are doing an m4 run. Friendly staff, clean rooms,. Just don't leave your window open as whilst it isn't m4 roadside, the traffic through the services does go through the night

Two nights in a family room. Well looked after in a clean well maintained room. Georgia on reception was fantastic, ensuring we were ok. Good value for money. It's no frills, but as a short stay base to explore the the locality it was ideal.

Delamere services on the M4 is one of my least favourite motorway services.Staffy r great considering the adversity that they must face when they are customer facing due to the state of this hotel with desperately needs one of two things knocking down and rebuilding or a complete refurbishment. If you see lots of rubbish outside the westbound Travelodge hotel by the winds it's a very dexterous crow that manages to get in side the bin and pull everything out which can be quite entertaining. On the good side there are some pub type benches just outside reception so you can actually go outside and have a cigarette and sit down in relatively fresh air considering by the M4.If it's a choice of eastbound Travelodge or westbound Travelodge I would go for the westbound every time.
