Rooms have been redecorated nicely.Staff are friendly when you can find one. Notice on front desk to ring number for assistance and number just rings office behind reception. Never noone around to help when needed.Extremely noisy. Being used at the moment as a local homeless shelter by council over Christmas period. Which is OK but not being considerate to paying customers. Booked three nights could even stay one. To noisy...will not be ever staying in a travelodge again. May be cheap but the problems that come with it. Just not worth it.

Does what is says on the tin. If you want a comfortable bed, hot shower and decent night's sleep it is great. Also good price. If you want luxury go some where else.

The room was a decent size, the location is good if you drive it?s close to a petrol station and within walking distance to Lidl but the town seems to further away if you don?t mind walking then there is some lovely parks. The staff are helpful and friendly.Rooms: They have a plenty of rooms and some are wheelchair and pushchair friendly. You can pay £20 and have your pet stay in your room to if that?s something you need which is brilliantWalkability: There is some lovely walks around this location. Parks and shops are fairly local. The town is a well worth the distance if you like a walk. It?s a lovely areaFood & drinks: You can order a breakfast but there is no food facilities on site there is a subway near and Morrisons at the petrol station and Lidl down the road to get some food and drink. There is a kettle provided with some tea, coffees and milk pots

Looks like the hotel is currently undergoing a refurb. My room on the 2nd floor had already been done and was comfortable and had a larger screen TV than I would usually expect at a Travelodge. All the staff I met were fantastic and very

Stayed during the summer, no air con. Small table fan provided. Dreadful experience, thought I was staying in a sauna. Hardly any sleep due to the heat or noise from the fan. They boast that they have 4 stars on TripAdvisor, clearly the people reviewing were on class A drugs.

I must 1st say that this Travel Lodge is old and tired but is under going a refit. We checked in for a 2 night stay while attending a wedding. We went up to our room to find that all that was on the bed was a sheet and the bed runner. The room smelt as though someone had been smoking in it. The duvet was found under a chair in a dry cleaning bag, so we got it out to put it on the bed. The duvet and it's cover were marked and stained. I set off back down to reception where I was presented with a fresh duvet cover. As you can imagine, our discovery sparked a Four in a Bed room search, which revealed that there were no pillow protectors on the pillows, and they were an amazing yellow colour from many sweaty heads. The bedside lights were on flexi stalks which were past their sell by date and pointed at the floor. We stay in Premier Inn regularly, and they have nothing to fear from their competitors. At least with Premier Inns, you know what to expect, and they deliver on a consistent level. I personally feel that nearly £180 for a 2 night stay is way OTT.Poor show Travel Lodge. I will be spending my hard earned with Premier Inn in the future.

It's a Travelodge, which is to say it's good value, no frills, but no nasty surprises either.Rooms were a bit smaller here than other sites I've stayed at, and the lack of plugs by the side of the bed was slightly annoying. There's no air conditioning system or even a fan, so I'd imagine it's a bit stuffy on a warm summer night. However, everything was clean and working properly.I can't fault the service, and the price wasn't extortionate. Don't expect luxury and you'll be quite happy.Rooms: Smaller than average with no air con or bedside plugs, but clean and modern enough.Walkability: Within a walkable distance to the town centre.

Basic but adequate. Was given a sheet for a duvet which was strange but given the heat perhaps a blessing in disguise! No air con, just a poor fan. Traffic noise nearby can be loud in morning. Needs more plug sockets if more than 1 person in room.

The hotel isn't really set back from the road, so can be very noisy depending on the room you have. Very basic facilities compared to some of the other Travelodges I've stayed in, but the rooms are Ok for the price. One small annoyance was that the Subway branch that's located next to the hotel lobby wasn't open for breakfast, despite displaying a 7am opening time. (We checked out at 8am and it was still closed).

Rooms have no AC only a table fan, no usb and wall sockets far from bed. The shower is not of good quality or appealing, could do with a remodeling but the staff were nice

I paid £145 for a room for one person for one night. Although the room was for 2 people, there was just one towel, 2 china mugs and no glasses. More importantly, there was no mat for the shower, I stepped into the shower and my feet immediately slipped causing me to fall. Having just undergone a full shoulder replacement I was fearful that I had done my self irreparable damage but fortunately I managed to break my fall with my back against the shower wall and my non-operated arm. I left at 8.50 the following day and the reception was unattended so did not report the incident. As regard to location, the Travelodge is a 20 minute walk from the town centre, in my case necessitating using a taxi.

Just one night here. The rooms are clean and warm. They provide shower gel and hand soap, no shampoo and conditioner.
They provide a kettle and tea, coffe, sugar, milk etc.
Clean towels and very comfortable beds with a douvet.
It was only a short cycle ride to Devisers Warf, where I needed to get to on the next day.
Close to places to eat to.
