Back in 2018, I had a crazy idea. On the way back from Rootstech, the world?s largest genealogy conference in Salt Lake City, I began reflecting on the gap left in the UK marketplace for a large, all-purpose genealogy show after the demise of Who Do You Think You Are? I decided that I wanted to try and fill this gap and so, not content with being the managing director of my own probate genealogy and people-finding firm, I decided to found THE Genealogy Show, an annual event to be held for the first time at the NEC in 2019. To start a venture such as this, however, requires financing ? and lots of it!Not knowing Robert at this time, I set about trying to organise finance for the show myself. I was eventually able to do so, however this left me with a hodgepodge of varying finance sources, which was, bluntly, a nightmare to deal with. This is where, through BNI, I was introduced to Robert Quarry. From the off, Robert was a delight to work with ? pleasant, polite and professional. He was able to help resolve my finance issues and consolidated our various finances into one easy to understand and manage package. He has always been prompt, timely and thorough in his work with us and without his assistance THE Genealogy Show as it exists today would be an impossibility.I have no hesitation whatsoever in wholeheartedly recommending Robert Quarry and Bowman Finance to anyone looking for financing for whatever reason, or to consolidate and work with existing finance.
