Too hasty. Did not take time to fill out history properly, also had problems using alternative pressure devise since I can't have puff-test. I have been getting my eyes tested once a year for 10 years since I'm pre-glaucoma but now I am only getting a test every 2 years. They did not ask for my file to be sent over from my last Specsavers which I find very unprofessional. More emphasis on selling tests and extra glasses than on my eye health. I will be looking for a new optometrist.

I have used Specsavers in Salisbury for several years and have been very happy with them. I started to get double vision so booked an appointment just before Christmas. The optician quickly diagnosed that I needed a "prism" correction added to my prescription. I chose a pair of frames that I liked and ordered 2 sets, using the "buy one pair get the second pair free" offer. I collected them just after Christmas and I am delighted with the improved vision and frames.

Really disappointed by the service I had from Specsavers today. The bus system wasn?t running on time so I called ahead to let them know I?d be late for my appointment, which I was told was absolutely fine on the phone and that someone would be on the lookout for me. When I arrived, I was turned away by the woman at the door who told me I?d missed the 10 minute window of my appointment and that they couldn?t see me.I explained to her that I?d called ahead and that I had been told it was fine, and that nothing about a 10 minute cut off time had been mentioned to me on the phone - because it hadn?t. I then requested a copy of my current prescription as my glasses are broken (which is why I had booked an eye test to begin with!) But was told she couldn?t do that for me and that there was no one available to do it. I found her fairly rude, she wasn?t helpful and she didn?t even offer to reschedule me. It didn?t look particularly busy in there and while I understand it is an appointment based system - I was THREE MINUTES past the ten minute cut off and I had not been informed of any cut off time when I called ahead. If I?d been told on the phone that there would be a cut off time, I would be a lot more understanding - but I advised whoever I spoke to on the phone that the bus had been 20 minutes late, apologized and asked if it was still okay to come which I was told it was fine. I don?t live in town and I don?t drive so this was extremely inconvenient to be turned away from my appointment.I was able to walk over to VisionExpress, get better service for more or less the same price as well as an appointment that day. A real shame since I?ve been using this specific Specsavers for more than ten years. I?ll be using VisionExpress in the future.

I got there early, was greeted at the door. I saw the optician early, and it was all done very quickly and efficiently. I didn't look at the glasses,as I was in a rush for another appointment.Very impressed with Specsavers ( Salisbury)

I have my eyes tested here every couple of years. Always seems busy but never a long wait. Had a new prescription but was able to collect new specs a few days earlier.

The qualified member of staff was on zoom - apparently this is their new normal unless requested for many 'normal' customers.This was not communicated to me before hand either. Would suggest calling if you have an appointment to make sure you do not have an appointment upstairs as this is where it will be a zoom one. Do not recommend, absolutely hated the 1or2 being asked over zoom and the machine not changing in time. It also felt quite dehumanising to the member of staff in the room as they were treated as part of the machine by the woman on zoom. The usual absolute shambles of the eye test and glasses departments, couldn't even find my records (I've been a customer for many years). The contact lense superhero is the only reason I continue to use this store. Can't recommend her enough, she is fantastic and a wonderful source of calm.
