Awful delivery service, drivers very rude and disrespectful behaviour. The incident has really upset me. BHF will be losing dignity when hired/hiring such people.

Worst place ever, our experience was appalling, solely due to one person in the shop. The girl and her grandad were very nice, but as for the other older guy, don't volunteer (?) if you can't be nice about it. I'm pretty sure he is responsible for all the negative reviews, he is petty and unhelpful- not a great ambassador for the BHF, even worse if he's a paid member of staff. The others were very helpful though.

The gentleman we dealt with today when my son was buying a TV unit was really helpful even giving my son directions to get back to the shop to collect it because of road closures. A good value item and a lovely member of staff Thank you

Drivers refused to take mattress and then refused to take the bed frame as well saying they had to be sold together?even though I had the option to have just a frame collected on the website. It?s a shame when you try to give something to charity to help a good cause and we are now just going to have to take to the tip and dump it. Won?t be bothering to donate again

***Manager Obnoxious & Disrespectful Behavior***This is not the first time I am buying things from British Heart Foundation, never has this happened before.Went to the store to get a refund the manager behaved in the most obnoxious way he could, in trying to forbe me away from processing the returns for the refund.Extremely disrespectful in saying telling me not to come again to store, as if he owns the store. When asked if he is the owner then giving the reason that he doesn't like to deal with the awkward customers. When I told him Ill make a formal complain hoping for an apology and leaving on a good note, he aggravated things and said "YOU DO WHAT YOU WANT "I think he any how should not be dealing with customers in this case since it would make people feel being treated disrespectfully with no dignity especially in cases of a returning a item and hope he finds something else he likes doing. With the experience I had with him, I would now think now twice if I would have to donate anything to the charity for a good cause and think thrice if I have to buy something from the charity in future. At no point in doing charity should be at the cost of being treated disrespectfully & losing dignity.

I guess they want new mint furniture to sell. I have just been told that my donation is not good enough. Not sure what they expect from a 5 year old sofa. I personally would expect a bit of wear. There are no rips. The driver didn't look interested when he walked in even before looking.I thought by donating to charity if they sold it at all it would be profit.

Wide range of furnitures, really friendly staff. We moved from India to the UK and were looking for furnitures and no one in the city delivers on the same day. But here we got it delivered same day and got really good discounts on the already discounted price. We got a brand new mattress(delivered same day), a lounge/arm chair and a cute red lounge chair for our daughter along with a double bed frame. All for a good cause.

The sofas we bought are fantastic quality and were a reasonable price; we are really pleased that the money has gone to a good cause. However, the customer service in this store is terrible. We arranged to have our new sofas delivered to our house and our old sofas collected at the same time between 8am and 2pm. The drivers dropped off the new ones but refused to take the old ones as collection "wasn't on the docket". I rang the store and they said there was nothing they could do for two days. Eventually they agreed to collect them the next day and assured me it would be before 11.30am as they had made the original error. No sign at 11.20am the next day so I rang and they said delivery before 11.30am "hadn't been put on the docket", and they would be delivered by 1pm now. The drivers arrived at 2.55pm. The involved staff member and Assistant Manager made little effort to rectify their multiple errors and the Assistant Manager accused me of lying about the arrangements made. One mistake is human error, two is incompetence, three is unacceptable and a blatant disregard for good customer service. The staff that dealt with us in this store were dishonest from start to finish. I will continue to support the charity but will not be recommending or using this store again.

My partner booked to have some furniture collected as we wanted to give it to a good cause rather than the tip. Drivers came to collect it and were rude from the off, saying "no good" as soon as they saw the items which had some minor scratch marks. Website states the furniture has to be 'saleable', not mint condition. BFH really should be clear about what they will and won't accept. To add insult to the situation, the driver suggested we just "dump" the furniture. Nice to know that BHF's drivers are encouraging people to add to the flytipping in Swindon!

You can find some real furniture gems in here. Staff are always friendly and helpful. You can pick up your purchases yourself around the back of the building or pay for delivery. I've done both and had a good experience each time. Oh and donate to this place if you can!

It's ok but would check out other places like Facebook because it's not cheap in there
