“Honestly I only ever use pets at home as a last resort because I much prefer to use my local independent pet shop but I visited last week with my daughter as she wanted to have a look at their rabbits...there weren't any at the time but we still ended up coming home with two rats from the adoption area...again! I'm so sorry I didn't get your name but as you called yourself the "Crazy Rat Lady" I shall too! Crazy Rat Lady was so helpful with showing and talking about these babies, she obviously knows rats so well and was just lovely to deal with, the boys have settled in really well and they're so sweet and confident, I'm sure that was helped by her handling them in the store as usually pets from here don't tend to be so comfortable with being handled... They have been renamed, Rat 2 is now Ghost and Robot (Robert?) Is called Rocket :) and they are super happy and loved. I just need to stop myself visiting here and looking in the adoption area! Otherwise the rest of the staff were lovely and quick to assist on the tills as it got busy, not a massive amount of stock in certain areas of the store. Fish area looked clean and yeah generally not a bad place to shop i just prefer to support smaller businesses :)”
