Always has what you need, good quality, good price.

Amazed by the size of the store. Pretty much everything you could need! Staff were friendly and helpful, although when we asked if there were tubs of chocolates (like Quality Street) we were told they're finished. By chance another assistant sent us to a huge display a long way from the confectionery and we found just what we wanted. So much in the store not even assistants can keep up! Strangely the self service packing area is tiny, and no use to anyone with more than a handheld basket.

Sometimes not enough tills open & have to wait. Not everyone wants to use self service. I do 2 people's shopping so the scanner is not an option either.

It's a ok sainsbury's for me but unfortunately I witnessed a sainsbury's lady staff be racist and horrible to a set of Chinese family on the self checkouts on the (29/12/2023) late at night she was wearing a skirt. Unfortunately I can't repeat what the staff lady said on here but what she said was very uncalled for and not very nice what she said to the Chinese family.

I liked this supermarket, but not anymore. It's so uncomfortable there . Because it's dark. Whole middle raw is in darkness. My eyes are hurting when I trying to find something. Not nice.

Sainsburys Paddington Drive, Swindon must be one of the worse supermarkets of this company in the country - or if it isn't, it must be the managers aim to be.They obviously have no desire to cater for customers who actually visit the store. You cannot move for staff pushing trollies around, presumably satisfying home delivery orders (as they are certainly not stocking shelves). They block up the aisles and stop you getting to the shelves. Not that there's much on the shelves and lots of them are empty. Also, when you get to the tills there's often no one on them, or, if you are lucky, there'll be one person on the tills and half a dozen customers waiting. The "supervisor" calls out for staff to come to the tills but no one turns up.I recommend you do not visit this store unless you have plenty of time to waste and you don't actually want to buy anything as they probably won't have it on the shelves anyway! If I could give this no stars I would - or a negative would be more accurate. If it is the managers aim to be the worst store in Britain they could relax as they are almost there.

Not bad to pick up a few essentials, but I mostly avoid doing a weekly food shop here now simply due to the fact there is never anybody working on the tills!

Managed to get all but 2 items on my shopping list, the shop wasn't too busy (it was a Monday) and the staff were pleasant

Usual rip off prices from one of the big 4. Don't do any favours for the customers, share holder are their priority.

This store has a big problem with having sufficient stock. The staff do not appear to be managed either, for example, no smart shop scanners in place, piles of them stacked up.at the smart checkout, no one cute enough to spot the problem. A money exchange kiosk always staffed however, with not one customer that I have ever seen.
