Avril and Antonio at Travelodge delivered excellent service. They were welcoming, attentive, and made my stay enjoyable. The rooms were also comfortable. I recommend this hotel for their great service and accommodations.

I arrived late at night for 5 nights and was given a quite room. This was anything but a quite room it overlooked a court area and all night people was shouting talking smoking drinking in it.The room itself is cheap and a good price however i arrived to a used dirty toilet. Scummy bath and dirty towels. The bed was pretty hard but clean and the tv only had about 4 channel available to view.It seemed like it was being used as an emergency shelter for homeless or families as kids was running right up and down corridors and playing up.Breakfast was basic and okay not alot to choose from but did the trick. Afternoon food menu was basic and they couldn't provide all the menu as they was short on food. Most of the food tasted like it was microwaved too. The bar was manned by the receptionist and there wasn't much to choose from i believe there was only 2 alcoholic drinks on tap.My room was cleaned once in the 5 nights i stayed there. No parking was available however discount was given for the multistory car park across the road that didn't seem the most secure place to be leaving a car. As when i arrive car alarms were going off and people were running around. However granted my car was safe for the duration. The location is pretty good with only a short walk away from town and 10 or 15 minute walk away from the outlets. However beware if driving here you will come across the magic roundabout which is a monstrosity of a thing to be driving aroundRooms: The room was basic and dirty. It got cleaned once in the 5 days i stayed there toilet paper wasn't topped up and bath was scummy and not welcoming. Th view from the room was of a rooftop full of litter and overlooking some kind of court area.Safety: Didn't feel overly safe with the resident that was in the hotel it felt like alot of homeless people were being housed there for emergency shelter and at night kids were running up and down the corridor. Location wasn't the best either next to court room and the job centre felt uneasy walking out of the buildingWalkability: Very close to town centre which was a perk only a 5 minute walk to the centre and 10 or 15 minute walk from outletsFood & drinks: The breakfast was very basic but tasty. Average at best however have had alot worse. As for afternoon tea there wasn't a wide variety on the menu and they didn't even have everything on the menu available. Most of the food tasted like it has just been banged in a microwave. As for drink at the very small bar that was being manned by the receptionist there was not alot of option to choose from

Hotel as expected from any other Travelodge. Due to the location, it attracts gatherings outside from local job centre and support centres. Noisy at weekends.

Always clean and staff make me feel right at home, remembered me from last time. Bed comfortable and because i was on floor 4 practically heard nothing, for a town center hotel really good noise wise. See you all next time

I stayed at the Swindon Travelodge Central for three nights, using the hotel as a base to walk around Swindon?s Old Town, Parks, Lydiard House and Park and the STEAM Museum, visit Stroud, Cirencester and Chippenham and watch Forest Green Rovers play Crewe Alexandra. I had intended to stay near Stroud, but hotel prices were too expensive and the Swindon Travelodge was reasonably priced even allowing for the extra travel. I had read the negative reviews of the Hotel on Tripadvisor before booking, but my stay was a positive experience. I felt safe in and around the hotel. My room was on the first floor at the front of the hotel. The road at the front of the hotel is reasonably lit, and while the approach to the hotel from the rear is less so, I did not encounter anyone at approaching midnight on the Saturday night. The hotel reception area is clean and the stairs to the first floor, the first-floor corridor and my room were spotless and smelt fresh. The room was clean and comfortable and once the window was closed there was only the merest noise from traffic and street conversations and I had eight hours sleep on all three nights. All appliances in the hotel worked. The hotel is well located being five-minutes walk from the shopping centre and ten minutes walk from the train and bus stations.

My room was towards the main road so it was really loud due to traffic but also people talking and shouting all night. Difficult to fall asleep even with the window shut (which I initially avoided due to the hot temperatures during those days but had to eventually shut it to try to decrease the noise level which was unsuccessful). Hotel could potentially offer free wifi, just a suggestion.

The hotel was nice and clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a short walk to the town centre. The bed was very comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. I would recommend this hotel to others.

First room did not smell good moved to a better room. The noise from outside was horrendous and kept us awake all night. Would not stay again. Other Travelodge's have been so much better and had no issues previously. I would definitely not stay at Travelodge Swindon again

Nice place. Very good location, walking distance from town centre, bus station, train station and many other amenities around.

Firstly I'm certainly not a negative person and someone who complains. So I'm not going to embarrassed myself on my review about the negatives on this Travelodge stay. As they say sometimes you have to accept what you paid for, on this occasion its questionable. But unfortunately I have too. There's still certain standards and accountability Travelodge UK have to be responsible for.. Customer Safety should always come first including outside surrounding area.. If I had the time I would've made a short video and put it across social media, thats how strongly I personally feel. My advise, PLEASE DO NOT STAY..

Rubbish experience at this hotel- corridors had a (can only describe it as sweaty) unpleasant smell throughout the hotel. Litter bags on landings of hotel throughout. Bathroom cleanliness was not up to standard, toilet had stains in, tiles were grubby. Corridor and room smelt strongly of cannabis when we woke up. I am not sure if this hotel is being used to house people waiting for public housing but surely these guests should be kept separate to paying customers?!?! 10/10 do not recommend this hotel, pay the extra for the Leonardo hotel down the road!
