I have to have a blood test to ensure I can receive my medication. After doing this the following week went to collect my prescription to be told this was not sent over. I have been advised this cannot be done by filling in the repeated prescription on line and the nurse must do it so what happened?

I had thought this practice to be functioning well until my most recent experiences. It's nigh on impossible to get an appointment. After numerous unsuccessful phone attempts at contacting the surgery I followed the recommendation to use the online portal, only to be immediately directed to actually call the practice by phone. When eventually I did get through by phone, they told me to make my enquiry online, but to be sure for the process to work...be online at 7am. That was experience number 1Number 2 : using the practice app I very easily booked an appointment for a blood test. Important here to note...there were no questions on the app that asked as to why I wanted the blood test. No reference for a need to be referred by a GP. Turn up for the appointment having booked time off work etc only to be told very bluntly by the HCA that I can't just book for a blood test without being referred by a GP. I explained that the app does not present that narrative...to which she replied " that's the way it is and there's nothing I can do". Sadly the practice, "some" of the staff and the entire working methods have fallen way short of acceptable. Seems to be no accountability. Patient care and understanding has become seemingly unimportant these days.

I sent an online triage message at 8.10 am. This was followed by a telephone call from a friendly receptionist offering me an appointment at 9.00am. One hour after sending the triage message I had been seen by an excellent ANP and was on my way to pick up a prescription. Amazing. Thank you Bewdley Medical Centre.

This lovely caring surgery has changed so much. The way of getting an appointment keeps changing and when I question why I?m always told it?s the government guidelines, yet other surgeries in the area seem to organise things in a much more patient friendly and efficient way. It?s such a shame but I was told recently by a receptionist ? unfortunately we can?t please everyone ? and while I?m quite sure that?s true , reading some of these reviews, it seems there are not many patients pleased with the service.it?s Care Quality Commission rating is- Requires Improvement and it really does .We have some excellent doctors, please try to get the systems right.

My 88 year old mom arrived for a pre arranged appointment ( by letter ) for blood test etc only to be told she wasn?t on the computer and they had no record why she was there . This is not the first time this has happened . A very cold day and very stressful for her to be sent home AGAIN because basic booking in was not done correctly . No wonder this place is one of the lowest rated surgeries in the UK. Shameful !

So sad what has happened to our once great doctors surgery in Bewdley. Like many of the other reviews on here, talking to someone is impossible yet alone getting an appointment (if that is still a thing), even at hospital the doctors pull a face when you tell them you are with Bewdley medical centre. Even after my heart attack have little or no contact from them. I have recently been for a scan at Kidderminster and had heard nothing after 2 weeks and had to chase them (via an app) and requested a callback but got a text telling me it had been reviewed and all clear, why can no-one let you know, hidding behind complicated booking procedure and phone system.....so sad

Both my husband and myself have recently joined this practice.Staff are kind and caring, and we feel fortunate to have our care entrusted to this well-run asset of Bewdley and surrounds.With online communication and prescription requests, this is an extremely efficient and effective organisation.

I've had a few blips with missed urgent prescriptions, not to mention issues with my child's immunisations being given incorrectly and then covered up by management. However, recently I do feel well cared for by the GP team and the receptionists. Not perfect but improvements are happening.

Absolutely abysmal doctors surgery! Never known a place so unable to do their job with no accountability in my life, anywhere providing a customer service would not get away with it yet they scream CLAP FOR THE NHS and then your met with these clowns who give anyone working in the NHS a bad name, should be investigated for negligence

Yesterday my husband completed an online form to see a doctor, he was contacted speedily and was seen by a student doctor and a doctor yesterday. He also had blood taken for testing and the doctor has referred him for a CT scan.This is the second time he has completed the online request and both times he has received speedy responses, professional care and support.BMC you must pat yourselves on the back ...

One of the worst GP practices in the country.Can you please explain why on earth you have an online form that can only be filled in between 7am and 3pm, it's totally nonsensical?I don't care whether you take 5 days plus to get back to me as long as I can submit my request, but no, I know have to take time out of my working day to to contact you.-----Sick note and pill pushers, never want to see you and aren't interested if the support you've asked for costs money. Would get more sense out of a witch doctor and a course of leeches! Disgraceful!
