Went to find paint sealer products, advised by painter. But only got one. Assistant left me to look by myself!. Then proceeded to. Checkout, only to be told it's self service.Never tried it before. Lucky I had someone to help. Why , when there was several assistants near . Please go back to checkout assistants to put goods thru.. Not a good shopping experience. Will put me off going again

Great selection of products and fully stocked shelves. We visited to price up slabs for our patio. We found several varieties that we liked so now we sit down to work out the costs.

Many reviews say "well stocked" - I assume they were getting paint, brushes, bags of sand, or timber, or screws.The last few times I have been there, having looked at the website, I came away empty handed. I am tired of it and always just end up picking it up from the screwfix the next day.Bye bye B&Q. Your brand recognition only gets you so far.

Poor customer service.Nothing more fustrating that to visit this local store and feeling that they don?t want to help you, they have no idea when you ask a simple question and worst when they say we don?t sell them (when they do) or you can only get it on line ( when is not true) or when you spend 10 mits looking for someone to help and when you finally find one they ether shown no willing to help and if they do they quick tell you we don?t have it or you have to get it on line, nothing worth that travel 6 miles to get something and get this kind of experiance so I won?t be back in a rushI visited the range and I had a good customer service and the item I already purchased in B&Q were £3 cheeper at the range. Not very helpful B&Q

Poor customer service
In general after 15 years shopping at this store I’m totally out of by the lack of customer service, easy to say sure I can help and them also easy to say we dont have it in store it’s online only when it’s not the case, waste my time and money at this store that clearly are loosing the essential part of their job ( customer service) also it’s becoming lots more expensive that other stores locally selling basically the same items so I won’t be coming back in a rush

Always have what I wanted. Easy to find everything as the store labels above each isle are large and clear. On the odd occasion I have had to return an item the staff are very helpful and no fuss has been made.

If would be possible on the scale, I would leave a - 5! Is it just me or B&Q new policy about this presenting ID for nearly everything yiu buying at the shop is totally rubbish.Made 15 minutes trip to the shop and they asked me to show ID for buying a mould cleaner. An ID? I totally do not look like a child to ask for an ID. It is a basic household cleaning product that anyone should be able to purchase easily without unnecessary hassle.The fact that B&Q has implemented this policy for almost everything is not only inconveniencing but also insulting to their customers. It shows a complete lack of trust and respect towards their adult patrons.If B&Q wants to implement a policy like this, they should at least have the common sense to exempt items that are clearly not age-restricted or harmful in any way.Overall, I am extremely disappointed in B&Q's new policy and their treatment of their customers. I would urge them to reconsider and come up with a more reasonable approach to this issue.Furthermore, what is the point of showing ID for such a harmless item? It is not like I am trying to buy something illegal or age-restricted. It is just a mould cleaner. This new policy seems completely unnecessary and a waste of time for both the customers and the staff. It is frustrating and inconvenient, and I cannot imagine how many customers they will lose because of it. Definitely not a fan of this new policy at B&Q.
