We stayed here for two nights prior to attending a wedding. The room (206) was very comfortable with a big bathroom and a view of the hills; the extra fan which we were given was very welcome given that we were there on the hottest day of 2023! The staff were friendly and efficient; the restaurant (air-conditioned) was spacious with a good variety of menus; I recommend the gammon and chips if you're really hungry - it was an enormous portion. Plenty of parking and proximity to Malvern and Worcester made our stay very interesting. On arrival we were told that the wifi was not always reliable and to come down to reception if we had trouble connecting; it was very flaky and often we couldn't connect. On leaving I mentioned this and asked where the main router was situated. "Downstairs" I was told. I'll Ieave the techies among you to work out where the problem might be! But we did enjoy our stay and I must say that we would book again if ever in the area as it was ...(see review title).

On Arivel the the welcome was very bad . Told you can't park there your blocking the door. It was my wedding anniversary the evening meal, that night was not hot at all my wife's nan bread was like a lump of rock .the staff on the other hand where fantastic. Just the grumpy one who I assume was the manager . And needs getting rid of .the hotel was flooded one night and closed .shame I can't have half my money back .

Don?t usually write reviews but this place deserves a mention. We (9 people aged 7-75) recently stayed for 2 nights at the Malvern Hills hotel for my mums 75th birthday celebrations. The food in the hotel was great, the rooms were fantastic and the staff were brilliant (especially Joe). Well done guys, keep up the good work! Also a great location for walking in the hills. We will be back soon.

The hotel is in a great position, the staff were delightful and the rooms were very pleasant. HOWEVER?I feel that potential guests need to be warned about the hotel?s security. My husband had two debit cards stolen from his wallet whilst we were having our evening meal. We know, without doubt, that it was taken at this time because my husband used his wallet during the day. The wallet and mob? phone, were in the bedside drawer. The first time we realised that something was amiss was at breakfast. The receptionist came to find us saying that someone was on the phone wanting to speak to Mr.. who was staying at The MHH, room? She looked surprised and perplexed by the call. A long tale, but ultimately, the call, as we suspected, was to try to obtain a pin number. The receptionist was extremely kind, and helpful at this point. All very upsetting for us. Hours spent in the local banks etc trying to check card cancellation & salvage the situation. Later that evening we spoke to the same young receptionist (duty manager?) We expressed our deep concern about the theft from our room and the hotel?s security. She was polite, but insistent, that no one could have entered our room. It couldn?t possibly be any of the staff, or workmen. All duplicate keys were locked away and she kept the keys. She was polite but distinctly cooler this time. During our stay, workmen were decorating rooms along the corridors to our room, other workmen were improving the hotel entrance. Corridor doors were open to the car park to allow them easy access. Security cameras evident, but no internal ones working. Some room keys, I had noticed were visible, at the reception desk. I was told that the desk was ALWAYS manned. This was untrue, because I had visited reception with a query, after check-in and no one was in sight and gave up trying to find someone. At other times the reception was occasionally unmanned while we were there, but in fairness, this was infrequent. Before we left I made it quite clear that I wanted to speak to the owner of the hotel, to discuss the incident. However, as the owner was away and would not be returning till after we had left (the next day), I asked if they would kindly contact us to discuss the matter. Security was obviously an issue there and I wanted to know what action, if any, was being taken about it. I left it a few days to allow time, and sent a polite email, asking to speak to the owner. A following, equally polite email was sent. Both emails were ignored. I am both surprised, and saddened by this. We had great service from the staff at the hotel, during our stay. I find the management?s attitude quite shocking. The hotel?s lack of security is a serious matter and needs attention. There are no room safes. Therefore, we would never return or recommend it to anyone.

What a lovely hotel. Very welcoming staff. Great breakfast and a very comfy clean room . We arrived late on check in and the restaurant was closed we were starving as we had not eaten all day but the lovely lady at check in said she would make us a tuna baguette which made our day. Definitely stay there again.

Had a lovely experience in the bar area and outside. Really reasonably priced, a great selection of drinks. Joe who served us behind the bar was really friendly, had excellent customer service and is a credit to the team! Would not hesitate to come back here.

Love this hotel and its fab position, unfortunately the long standing staff became very aloof - this put a dampener on visits. However, the new members of the team are a breath of fresh air, their chirpy attitudes really make a visit worth while now. Superb atmosphere with attentive staff!

Very good hotel in a lovely location, breakfast is really good and nice bar and restaurants. The room we had, 308 was very nice and the only fault we had was the bathroom had a number of cleaning and general highgene issues which was a bit off putting . Would stay again , just not in 308

Had lunch here today, food was excellent and staff really welcoming. We had our dog with us and he was welcome too. It was a very pleasant experience and will certainly return next time we are in the area . Food was all freshly prepared and tasty

Very disappointed, ploughman's lunch was not anything like a traditional ploughman's, and was not enough food to fill a sandwich, for nearly £13 pounds. small amount of bread, no butter and £4 pound for a pint of coke which had half the glass filled with ice. Rip off, wont be returning

Overall a good friendly place. The room was compact but not cramped and had everything I needed. The staff were incredibly helpful and every single member of staff seemed genuinely happy. They were even able to sort out charging for my electric car. The food both evening and breakfast was good. Slightly on the pricy side for the evening meal, but not excessively so and this is a tourist area. So why only 4 out of 5. Unfortunately the room I had was over the bat so noise spilled over later at night, and unfortunately at about 6:30 in the morning the car park seemed to be used as a meeting place for scouts (or similar) again meaning external noise early on. Whilst the second part is little to do with the venue it does still detract from a perfect experience and they perhaps should be asking locals to respect those sleeping when they use the car park as a meeting point. Having said all that I would choose to stay here again.

The hotel is in very good shape and the staff are very friendly. I stayed with a group of 6 couples in all and we ate in the hotel on 3 nights. My friends all thought the bedrooms were excellent and they enjoyed the hospitality. Hotel conveniently situated for the hills, being close to British Camp and Black Hill.

Really disappointed. Gorgeous hotel. As I had recently undergone surgery asked for a children's portion to be refused point blank . Not the nicest start to the bank holiday . Had to sit and watch my partner eat ....

We stayed in this lovely hotel last year and I?ve been meaning to review for some time. The hotel is convenient for walking the Malverns and we had an enjoyable one night stay. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and there is a great restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating with good food and a nuce bar area. We used this as a base for exploring the Malverns and liked that the footpaths were close to the hotel. A really enjoyable stay in a lovely part of the world. Would definitely go back.

Lovely rooms, really friendly and helpful staff, amazing breakfast and lovely location (with parking!). Nice bar too. We had read some reviews complaining about staff attitudes, but our experience was the complete reverse. We will go back.
