Went after finding the DHL website wasn't private customer friendly. We needed to post documents urgently and quickly overseas so Reading depot it was. We were seen very quickly, with a friendly service, chatty and warm staff greeted us, dealt with our concerns and skilfully guided us through the process. For a large depot it had a very nice personal service feel, we just felt comfortable and at ease posting something that was important to us. Within four days it had arrived 8000 miles away. Excellent if you ask me! Well done DHL Reading. That's a nice one from me. Recommended.

Very poor service. Paid a lot for next day delivery but they didn't deliver it. It said it arrived at the delivery depot at 6 am but they claimed it wasn't scanned and they didn't know where it was. They weren't helpful and didn't care about their very poor service. Many years ago this was a good company but now they are terrible and I wouldn't recommend them. I should have just stuck with Royal Mail First Class delivery which was much cheaper and probably had more chance of being delivered.

I was waiting on a part for my car because I had to travel to Glasgow for a funeral on Sunday i desperately trying to collect my car part so i went the reading depot and your employee his name is Dave Norford saved the day the man was very understanding and efficient in dealing with my issuesHe?s employee of the month in my books thank you again dave your an asset to HDL

A dreadful customer experience from DHL's so-called Express service.On Sunday evening I placed an order from an online retailer who turned out to be in Spain or a product and chose to have a it delivered quickly to me in the UK by DHL Express. The estimated delivery day was Wednesday.On Monday I received a despatch notification from the supplier and was pleased to also receive an email from DHL advising m that the expected delivery day was Tuesday, a day earlier than expected.However when viewing DHL's tracking on Tuesday the package was still 'on hold' in Barcelona, as it was for most of Wednesday.It eventually left at 22:39 that night, going first to Leipzig, then Heathrow, then Luton, the back to Heathrow and finally to DHL's depot on Reading where it arrived at 11:19 on Thursday morning. Some carbon footprint.......As it was an Express delivery I expected it to be put on a van and immediately despatched to me, but when I rang DHL later that day they told me they don't treat Express deliveries at the depot any differently from other deliveries and it would be sent out on Friday. Not impressed.On Friday morning I received a despatch email followed a text message to tell me the order would be delivered between 9:45 and 11:45am.Over an hour after the time window expired I rang DHL and spoke to a very helpful lady called Paige. She told me my package was marked as a morning delivery and twice tried to contact the driver but he didn't respond. She asked me to call back if I still hadn't received the delivery by 2pm.Having seen nothing by then I duly called back and while I was on the phone to her at 2:15pm the delivery finally arrived.On questioning the driver he told me he isn't given any delivery times for customers and that its down to him how he plans his route for the day.This was just one disaster after another.Why bother to pay DHL extra for Express delivery when it is anything but?I've only given them as high as a 1 star rating because it isn't possible to give zero.

I usually don?t write reviews but Chloe Evans has delivered such poor service that I feel obliged to. Her communication was awful, she was was using terms that the average user wouldn?t understand and then didn?t communicate that my returns were actually being sent back to me? after 3 emails of me asking her exactly what she was after to avoid any errors. Genuinely awful, she doesn?t seem cut out for the job.

Received a text message advising that delivery attempt failed due to my unavailability. Been home all day, no delivery attempt had been made. I have a front door camera to prove it. DHL drivers lie!

Absolute rubbish service Courier unable each month to read the instructions to leave the parcel of medical supplies around the corner of the porch and not visible from the road. Each month parcel is left in the middle of the front door wholly visible. This month the parcel has been stolen. Urgent medical supplies in the parcel, needed by me and useless to the thief. Please tell your couriers to read and follow instructionsIf I could give a no star rating I would
