Had my Eye Care plan set up and and really and truly it was nothing short of a special experience. It was an amazing customer service i have received, Hala and another Tunisian lady i regrettably forget her name were truly amazing as they have explained to me the advantages of signing up for the Eyecare plan with Vision express and the benefits which followed. I decided to even by an additional sunglasses pair to my prescription glasses and was so pleased by the professional manner that these ladies conducted. I will definitely be a lifetime customer thanks to them!Asim Ali.

I was very impressed with the service I received from the staff. Before my test, the offers available to me were explained clearly.The eye test was conducted by Said, the optician. He was thorough, asked lots of questions and absolutely professional. He told me calmly that there might be a problem with my eyes and wanted to conduct a peripheral vision test, which was conducted by Josh. He was decent, kind and patient, putting me at my ease. They are now referring me to the eye hospital for further tests through my doctor.In spite of the worry caused to me by their examination, I always felt that I was in good hands and that they really cared about getting things right. A really good team, who go the extra mile. I recommend them without hesitation.

I can't understand the 1 star reviews as they didn't go in to the same store I did. I was given the highest standard of service possible from a professional and friendly team. Initially served by Josh a pleasant young man who was knowledgable and very helpful. Lewis the manager was on hand for any advice and both he and Josh couldn't have been more friendly and professional. The eye test by Oscar was excellent. Later I was served by Riz again he was professional, friendly and engaging.I would not hesitate to recommend this store and the staff to everyone. Maybe the staff have changed but this is the best Vision Express I have been to in over 20 years of using the company.

About 2 months ago after I went to get my new glasses adjusted (I had a pain behind ears they were very tight) after the staff in the store got it wrong I ended up going there every week to get them adjusted because they were falling off.. the staff in the store have tried too many times without any result. (in the end the only solution was to wear pads which was uncomfortable. today I went to change the pads and I met Riz (I hope I spelled it right ) who instead of changing them asked me if I wanted to try to adjust them I told him that too many have tried so that?s no point (I was wrong, Riz managed to fix my glasses in a few minutes which no one in the store succeeding) finally I got rid of the pads! Thank you Riz !!!

Live in the neighbourhood over 6 years now and finally decided to support this shop ONLY because my regular Optician (Bramley Pope) had restricted hours since covid. WORST decision of my life, spent over £300.00 on the varifocals (albeit this wasn't my 1st or 2nd time with this type of lens but from my usual Optician) ...So Got a text glasses were ready, after 2/3 days struggled to use glasses esp with computer. VE took back glasses n advised the measurements for the varifocals were incorrect, waited a next week for 'new' set... The jokes on me... Basically I paid over £300.00 for NOTHING, oh oh I did tests for contact lens... It's well over a month... Crickets!!!!Worst the lady who initially fitted my glasses n measurements for the varifocals AVOIDED me on the 2 occasions I had to go back..I should have taken the day off on gone to my usual friends at Bramley Pope... Shame on me.Utterly disappointed and waste of money and time.This place Vision Express should be avoided at all costs! I know VE will see my name and check their records - I even paid everything upfront...!!

I had a problem with my glasses made me feel a bit dizzy. I went there yesterday and my issue got sorted right away. The young lad was very professional and very polite.

Awful experience time and time again, if I could put 0 stars I would. I went in for a contact lens trial, spent nearly 2 hours there waiting around while the staff talked to each other looking like they had no idea what they were doing. Strange guy on the door wearing a cap, clearly had no idea what was going on, made me feel uneasy from the moment I arrived. I was then told I needed a contact lens teach and could wait another half an hour for it, I said I couldn't as I was on my lunch break and now an hour late back to work already. I booked in for the teach (after more of a wait and whilst the young guy who was helping me was too busy talking to someone else who seemed to be someone higher up in Vision Express?). A few days later I turned up for my teach to be told I didn't have an appointment booked and no one was there to help me so to rebook but their next appointment was in 2 weeks time. 2 weeks later I go for my teach, waited for over half an hour again while staff walked around not doing anything, seeming clueless as usual, one woman who was serving someone left that person to talk to someone who had walked in, the woman she left looked nearly as fed up as I was!! I very nearly walked out when I was then called in. The guy doing the teach was great and helpful but still a bit clueless, not even knowing what eye my lens was to go in! I came away with my lens to try, only when I was driving home did I realise I couldn't see very well, in fact it was worse than with no lens, I have no idea what they have done but I had to wear my glasses home and will go to a different store so I don't have to deal with these people again. Overall I really wouldn't bother going to the Bristol Broadmead store, I certainly will never be returning. Awful customer service from start to finish.

I had ordered contact lenses and they never got ordered. Ended up having to go into store over 4 times to finally get them. Nobody had updated my notes clearly as I had to explain to them the situation multiple times.They kept using my contact lenses being discontinued as an excuse despite me saying from my first appointment that?s fine I don?t mind having different brand/type etc whatever was available.Genuinely feels like going in circles. The staff are nice enough and I don?t blame them I blame the management, I feel there has been nobody with authority to actually sort anything out for me and when they ?did? they didn?t offer any type of solution apart from ordering them as they should?ve done 4 in person orders previously.When I did get some lenses through I had to wait over 35 minutes for my appointment on my weekend off, 2 appointments in a row.Previous vision expresses I used never had these issues. I will be moving to a different glasses provider from now on.

I don't recommend it to anyone!!!! disgusting customer service, very unprofessional, the gentleman who served us has no idea what he is doing, I had to make glasses for my 3-year-old son, the prescription did not cover the entire scope of the glasses, we had to pay extra 20 pounds for the most ordinary frames, and the gentleman serving us entered our details incorrectly, we waited. a few weeks for the glasses and if it weren't for the fact that we contacted the optical shop ourselves, we wouldn't have known that they were ready for collection. Upon collection, it turned out that the lenses in the glasses were so thick that they protruded from the frame and were very disturbing to the child. vision express wanted an extra 80 pounds for lenses that would fit in the frame. we resigned from Vision express services in another optical facility, the prescription covered the frames and normal lenses that do not protrude from the frame!!!

My vision is getting worse and worse. Only 1 year and I see that I can't see anymore as good as even a few months before. I use glasses first year so I decided to check my vision second time after a year of this new experience. I had no luck in my area, so I decided to go to Vision express. The eye test was so quick, that I left with the feeling that the woman had an emergency or something else more important. Reading test took just a few seconds!!!!!! I think I spent just 5 minutes in her room. Before that I had some tests with another woman, she used some devices for checking eye pressure and 3d scan, I suppose. The secong woman spent more time making me read letters far away on the wall. But for me was more important the reading quality - close vision, and I told to her that my vision is getting worse very quickly, but she ignored it. A few second to see and to tell her what I see more clearly on jaeger chart and you can go. I downloaded it now from Internet and I am not sure anymore I told the right line to her. Woman didn't care much if there will be mistake. I also wanted to order occupational glasses from another company, but I found out that my test from Vision express is not having important information about inter add, because ,I suppose, they just don't sell glasses like that. They have a good paying plan though there for 2 years. I chose 2 glasses 1 of them was Varifocal glasses with the best lense. But it's just rubbish and I gave them back - I couldn't see the full A4 line in them - you have to move your head all the time. In the store I couldn't read without breaking my eyes lol or moving glasses. The unhappy woman, when I came to give them back, insisted that I wear them wrong. Ok, so why you don't teach people who never had glasses before, how to wear them the right way to make sure people not coming back?! She couldn't deal with the problem in calm and relaxed way. Believe me, I hate coming back to stores and I better through away what I don't like instead of coming back , but this time I just didn't want to pay 2 years for something I don't like.

Great experience at Vision Express @ Broadmead Bristol.I would namely thank Ikbel who, from the moment I walked into the store, greeted me with a smile and a genuine willingness to assist me in finding the right eyewear. Ikbel was professional, knowledgeable and incredibly patient with me - I admit, I can be quite indecisive when it comes to choosing something as important as eyeglasses!She encouraged me to try on as many frames as I needed until I felt confident in my choice. In the end, thanks to Ikbel's expert guidance and unwavering patience, I left Vision Express with two pairs of glasses that not only met but exceeded my expectations. Love them!I would also like to thank Hala, who was wonderful when I collected my glasses. Nothing was too much trouble in making sure they fitted me perfectly.If you're in need of eyewear and want an exceptional shopping experience, I wholeheartedly recommend visiting Vision Express @ Broadmead Bristol.

My experience at the optician's was utterly dreadful, primarily due to a peculiar encounter with Hector, the Scandinavian actor. He inexplicably chose to chew on people's glasses, transforming what should have been a routine visit into a bewildering spectacle. As he munched away, he recited Shakespearean llama sonnets in the dimly lit optician's office, leaving me both flabbergasted and unsatisfied with their services.

VISION EXPRESS HAS Absolutely TERRIBLE service. There were no receptionist. I sat in the waiting area without any guidance of what the hell is happening. All I was told was someone will be with your soon. After 30mins I left. The stuff just walked past saying someone will be with you soon.Lucky Specsavers were around the corner to them. SPECSAVERS WAS VERY ATTENTIVE AND DELT WITH MY INQUIRY IMMEDIATELY.
