Boxes are not made to ship laptops. You have to buy a way bigger box and pay more. I know it's not DHL's fault but shipping to South Africa, had to pay import duties even though the laptop was a gift.

They try to scam you with duties by telling you you need to fill out the value of objects even if you're sending your own stuff to a different address! These are called "personal effects" but they don't tell you to put that. The fees were very high!! And they will not deliver your package until they're paid, but they don't tell you there are fees, and it appears in the tracking as "delivery attempted" even though that is false. Then if you try to call them to remedy the situation the hold line takes FOREVER, with this terrible set of messages that interrupt each other and don't give you any time estimate.I would never use this company again, horrible experience trying to send a simple small package to myself.

Well after them coming to deliver parcel twice they didn't leave a note to say they had missed us

The astounding failure of DHL is shocking to this day. In fact I don?t really think their services are required anymore, I would suggest all to never use their services.

Terrible and unhelpful
