This branch always seems busy. Maybe that is because it is their only branch in Cambridge? Or maybe is is because they are so inefficient they are constantly trying to correct problems? Either way I have stopped using the Halifax but retain an account with a nominal amount "just in case". Certainly wouldn't recommend.

Majority of the staff are unhelpful and rude. Used to be a good branch with good people and this used to apply to the bank in general.
Everything has to be done online or over the phone these days so they can afford to hire useless people instore.

Halifax really do offer the best service. Having experienced several other branches in Cam (HSBC, Nationwide, Barclays etc.) Halifax customers are comparatively lucky!

Spent several months going back and forth with this branch and the Halifax online team trying to make my online saver a joint account.
On one visit, one of the managers told me he'd take care of the situation personally. When I returned a few weeks later, he was, apparently, busy on another call. I've still not heard anything back from him.
I'm STILL trying to get this resolved. Halifax online team has decided I have been inconvenienced to the tune of £40.
