For the price paid - £126 for one night, wasn't really worth it. We were at a local festival and needed a place to stay overnight before the drive home the next day. As the other reviews say, lots of noisy lorries by the roundabout next to the hotel. Not so bad in the small hours, but they do start up with a vengeance at 5am and noisy despite the double glazing. The rooms are clean, but very tired. The carpets are faded with stains alll over. The bathroom smelled very strongly of bleach. Amenities are miinmal. Reminded me of my son's university digs. The whole facility needs a revamp. There are also no plugs by the beds - so if you use a CPAP - bring an extension. The £5.50 breakfast box was a bit of a rip off - particularly for a diabetic. If I had paid £50 for the night - may have been commensurate with what I'd expect, but not at £126.

The hotel is on a busy road and heavy noisy lorries start fairly early in the morning. The noise from these makes it difficult to have a lie in but if you are an early riser then this is not an issue. There were no noisy neighbours and excited kids running down the halls. The room itself was clean and comfortable.

Can't fault the price and the staff at all, it's not a hotel for the light sleepers as there's heavy traffic noise. Yes the carpets are out dated, the room was extremely stuffy with the heatwave we've had. The bed was somewhat comfortable.I would suggest that noone gets in to the shower/bath after a previous person using it as I actually slipped quite bad and busted my knee, my own fault but antislip mats would be a god send. The staff I'd give a 10/10. Friendly, helpful and great at their jobs. Nothing was too much for them.

Can't complain about my stay apart from the showers should have an anti slip mat, as after my partner o went to have a shower, slipped and busted my knee. (My own fault) Staff were amazing ?? Hotel was quiet, not recommended for light sleepers at this location due to heavy traffic. Room was very clean and cozy although got too hot with heatwave, carpets are a little out dated. Still would go back again

Not great. The walls of the rooms are pretty thin and the noise carries so not the best night's sleep. The room was really hot with only a tiny fan to circulate the warm air around. However, the room was reasonably priced and handily placed for The Royal Cheshire Show.

I can only describe this place as Bates Motel. Nothing really enticing about this hotel. Very lower end of mediocre.Rooms: Out of date

Be careful booking this hotel one side of the hotel is practically on the road with lorries flying past all night. I was staying over due to a work meeting the next day had zero sleep and had to cancel my meeting the following day. Avoid at all costs

Travelodge in very convenient location for the m6 not much else around. No on site pub but the receptionist (Evie I think) recommended a lovely pub just down the road. Rooms very clean but could do with an update.

Booked using the new business app and Checked into the hotel for 2 nights, there was an issue with the booking and only had me down for tomorrow night but paid for 2. Found out Tonight?s hotel was an hours drive away so Alison arranged for me to transfer to this hotel for both nights. Shame on Travelodge for charging me an extra £60 for the pleasure (so basically paid for the other hotel and this room too tonight and a £10 transfer fee) It beat sat on the M6 at rush hour. Alison at this hotel went above and beyond to help get the transfer sorted. Excellent customer service and very friendly, it?s definitely down on my list of future business stays when I?m back in this area ?? ?? ?? ?? ??

Unfortunately can?t rate it much higher compared to other hotels I?ve stayed at in the area. The room only came with one pillow on the bed each with no extras in the room, the only plug socket for devices are over near the kettle so if you want to use your phone / laptop in bed and it?s low on charge, forget it. There?s no glasses for cold drinks / water only mugs. The bathroom has marks on the sink, and we didn?t get the best nights sleep due to the location being right near a main road, any time a lorry goes past and over a bump in the road it would wake me up.

One of the older looking Travelodges but everything as expected, service good and they've even thought to put a handy list of nearby places in the room?

It's a budget basic hotel but for me it's convenient, clean, quiet and priced well.

Overall impression? Don?t go in, horrible dark entrance in a small car park, windows filthy and no staff anywhere to be seen. Room was dirty, Sheets hasn?t being changed as there was hair on the bottom sheet, mugs dirty and spoon. Towels left a lot be disired about. Stains and smell. The rooms carpets has brown stains on and smelt of cigarettes. We didn?t stay we left as we feared we could need a tetanus shot

Stayed here overnight as I had a business meeting the next day. The staff are welcoming, friendly and couldn't do any more to help. They are an asset to Travelodge. Special mention to Alison on reception who was just lovely to deal with. This is a basic hotel but service is of a 5 star hotel. Also, the roomed was immaculately clean - although carpet could do with updating.

All good. Comfortable, clean, well maintained and very helpful staff. It was in a good place for our overnight stopover, we will definitely use this Travel Lodge again when we are next in the area as it is close to the motorway but not noisy.
