“We had an enjoyable few days here recently. The hotel has very nice grounds but can get busy with events over the weekend leading to some noise at night. Our room was comfortable although very warm (it was during the heatwave) and we were provided with a fan which helped. Although we were facing the road there wasn't a lot of traffic noise. Housekeeping in the room could have ben better as there was rubbish under the desk table and the guest information booklet was covered in dust. Also when the room was serviced, neither the toilet rolls or the tea tray were replaced one day. The worst thing about this room was the awful, non existent water pressure. I'd be generous if I said it was a dribble! Having a shower was an ordeal and really shouldn't be in 2023. We didn't eat in the on site restaurant - the food sounded nice but the prices seemed a little steep. The breakfast, however, was excellent as were all the staff we encountered. I would stay here again but I'd ask for a room with a shower that worked next time!”
