Dan and his colleague in Stroud branch were extremely helpful and helped with all our queries, including a query outside my new contracted phone. The transition to the new Vodafone network went very smoothly with thanks to very good advice and guidance.

Good Customer service

I had a very good experience in Vodafone with Dan. I was looking to change provider and I had a multitude of questions that he was able to provide answers to. He laid out all my options really clearly with very neat handwriting (sounds silly but actually quite useful!) and now I am all set up with my Vodafone. How fortunate to have such a practical and friendly service in Stroud town. Thank you!

Awful. For a communications company? you can?t communicate with them! Pathetic! Shop is pictured closed, can?t call Stroud to ask if they?re open instead get a call centre? that you can?t speak with and instead get a chat bot that can?t help.Pathetic.The public sector are slicker than you guys come on, wake up - be available for the customers paying thousands of pounds. Just be available, with a helpful person and you?ll keep your business. Automate poorly and you?ll alienate your customers ? like me. If I can?t get to speak to a person to ask if you?re shop is open for advice, why on earth would I stay? my details are stored on your chat bot in the hope a person with customer care skills calls me today? wait and see?.

I went in to replace my phone which was 3 years old and ailing. I was pre warned by a friend that they really want to sell you broadband which they did. I think it's a slightly better deal and I was already annoyed at BT so it wasn't hard.I went in first thing on a Friday morning as I didn't want to be without my phone for work use. I was served straight away and there were no other customers. The phone I wanted "wouldn't be in until the weekend" When I told him I would come and pick it up Monday morning he said, as if revealing a benefit "they'll deliver it right to your house!" I said I preferred to pick it up and would be in on Monday because I knew I wouldn't be home and I was working all week almost next door which was why I had come in, in the first place. But evidently he wasn't listening.I came in on Monday after missing an unexpected mysterious package over the weekend and he greeted me as if I was a brand new customer. I said I was there to pick up my new phone. That's when he told me they will only ship it to your home and that picking it up in store wasn't an option. I told him I had missed a package over the weekend and he said that would have been my phone. Slightly annoying, since my last words to him on the Friday as I left were "So I'll come in on Monday" to which he replied "I'll be here Monday, Tuesday...." and listed the days he would be in all week.I had also asked, when being given the broadband sales pitch about my existing BT email addresses as my wife has had the same email address with BT for a decade. He said "they let you keep it" and went on with an anecdote about his friends who still had BT email addresses long after ending their agreements. This was important to me as I knew my slightly rash decision to change broadband providers on the spot would be the one thing that would impact my wife. Well it turns out he was wrong. They don't let you keep it. They give you 60 days.So although the Vodafone employee was personable enough while getting me to commit to a few hundred pounds worth of business in the space of about 10 minutes, my general feeling is that of being un listened to then quickly forgotten once the deal was made.

I struggle with mobile technology. Unfortunately the sales assistant was unhelpful in trying to resolve a problem I had with a new phone I puchased from Vodaphone

Some of the employees are helpful others are not.I was charged £15 extra during my visit for some help in setting up the 'family link' app, which was fine. Within 2 weeks this app caused my son's new phone to stop working. The next employee we saw tried a little to help but gave up quickly and said to contact Google (which would have been a nightmare).I then managed to fix it myself and I'm rubbish with these things.Edit.. Since writing the review above I have been back to Vodafone about something else and I have to say they were very helpful, hence increasing star rating to 4.
