Consistently rude every time I have tried to donate, just met by a barrage of what they won?t accept before I?ve even said hello. Impossible to donate much anymore so landfill had to get most of it which defeats the object.

If you buy something in this store and you don't want it, make sure you take it back "on time" (according to the woman manager). My partner tried to swap some trousers he had bought and were not the right size and the woman said she couldn't give a refund because "it was one day out of the refund period" (?). She made that completely up. A real pity, that ruins the image of the shop and the charity.

Lady with the American accent is not kind to a disabled customer who was in the store while I was shopping as well.Other comments seem to reflect this issue - perhaps time for a management training ?

I went in for the first time today and bought two lovely rugs. Nice shop with a variety of items.

This shop is run by disrespectfully, classless, rude, toxic woman. Not sure of her name but she is the manager of the shop and has a American accent. The way she talks to people is appalling not just customers but staff members as well, she speaks in a degrading, disrespectfully and dismissive tone that as a customer is very off putting to hear. she lacks customer service skills and needs training . If she continues to behaviour in this way she will run this business in to the ground. She is a disgrace to the whole Oxfam corporation and should be replaced immediately. You have been warned DON'T GO THERE unless you want your day ruined.

The weekend manager of this store in Angel is an utterly miserable human being. She was curt and dismissive to every customer she encountered that had a question or problem. I personally was looking to return an item (with the tags still on and a receipt in hand per the policy) that I had bought less than one week before at the Oxfam in Bethnal Green. She would not allow me to return it to their store and said she had sole discretion whether or not to take it back, so she didn't. It's too bad as I, and I'm sure many others, will not return to that store or give them my business going forward.

the store is run by a rude american accented old woman who was unfriendly when I dropped donations, she desperately pushed me to sing for the tax refund. The whole experience was off putting

Be warned! If you don?t have time to gift aid your donations, you won?t even get a ?thank you?, only a very angry stare from the woman who runs the shop.
