First visit to Wagamma and was pleasantly surprised, just how good it was.The ease of walking in off the street and finding a table without booking and on a Saturday night, nice friendly staff, the quickness of service, the lovely oriental taste of the meal itself and even the cool way to pay at the table, just simply by scanning via your mobile phone.Cool place, in a cool atmosphere.

The management of this place is very problematic. The staff at the door, who are supposed to welcome guests, are also tasked with clearing tables, laying tablecloths, and serving dishes. At the same time, there are seven or eight waiters working in the lobby, seemingly without a break. Customers are continuously queuing at the door, many tables are empty, but no one is guiding the customers to their seats. Some staff are even chatting among themselves. It seems that the roles of the employees are not clear, and the front desk receptionist appears to be doubling as a manager, which adds to the confusion. I think the management needs significant improvement. If the management is this chaotic, I find it hard to believe that the quality of the dishes can be well controlled. By the way, this is the only restaurant where I've eaten garlic chips fried so hard they are inedible instead of being fragrant. I suggest the management should make surprise checks on the kitchen's output.

The Asian food at Wagamama at the Tate Museum is okay. It tastes good, but it's not outstanding. However, the service is very good and attentive! The ambience is also nice. Unfortunately, the price is a little too high for the food on offer in my opinion. Nevertheless, you can eat here without hesitation.

Visited with 5 friends, we got a table within a few minutes even though we went on a Saturday evening which we were very impressed about considering you can't book at Wagamamas.The menu had been updated since our last visit which was interested to see. A couple of my friends ordered the new hotpots which they really enjoyed.Me and my partner ordered ramen, after we had ordered we were told that the ramen might take a while longer than everyone elses however it was the first to come out.Ingredients were very fresh, I asked for no chilli or coriander to be added to the top of mine which they did no problem.Very easy to pay on the QR code, we all split the bill and was able to type in the amount we wanted to pay, there was a bit of a problem if two people were doing it at the same time so best to do one person at a time.Staff were very friendly and were around to ask questions.A very nice experience and also in a quiet area which was perfect for us with the Christmas Market being on at the Southbank.

Had a catch up with a friend here and it was nice. I went on a Tuesday evening and it was pretty quiet. Our waiter was nice enough to make recommendations for us which we liked, will definitely revisit.

Excellent experience!! My go-to place especially since I have a couple of allergies. The staff are wonderful and accommodating and the food is so good. Thank you to everyone at Wagamama Bankside and keep up the excellent work!

Visiting from Australia and this place is close to our accommodation. We both had the gyoza ramen which was really tasty. The server was concerned that it was quite hot but we didn't find it overly spicy; in fact we both added soy sauce and chili oil! Was a nice night so we sat outside. Only downer was we had to ask for someone to take our order.

My experience in this particular place was incredible. I simply have to leave great feedback. From the door as soon as we got in me and my friend we were taken care of. We were served by a Polish guy Piotr. A Happy smiling person with great energy -the best start you can have. I wasn't sure what I wanted so he recommended- Ramen. Honestly, the best I ever had!!! So far -Thank you!!! He was checking up on us... Making sure we are absolutely happy. We loved the place vibe and service especially Piotr made our day extra special. He deserves to be noticed by management -not many people put so much effort into making customers happy. We will be back for sure to this spot and we also hope to be served by Piotr. We recommend everyone this place. Amazing service and delicious food!!! ??????

I would highly recommend the cherry blossom drink, it was very refreshing and sweet. I was a bit disappointed with the chicken gyoza ramen, the pak choi didn't seem fresh, the leaves weren't green and it wasn't because it was roasted. Overall friendly staff, and nice views.Vegetarian options: I would say good vegetarian options plenty of different options for vegans as well, including sides and mains. It doesn't restrict you at all!Dietary restrictions: I had lunch with my friend and she's allergic to egg, fish and nuts. A member of staff kindly explained to us they are nut free in addition no menu item has nuts in them. Plus egg was taken out and made vegan so no problems with that also.

Ok! So the 4 stars is because of the yummy food and the portion size. Had it not been the case then it would definitely have been a 3 star! The server was friendly but food service was random and at times VERY slow. Just a glass of water took 10 minutes! Seated at the far end of the restaurant also meant it near impossible to get the attention of staff who predominantly loiter at the cashiers desk/bar.

Awful experience dining in here.Firstly, we asked for a children?s menu and we?re laughed at by waitstaff, very insensitive as one of my friend has an eating disorder hence ordering from the children?s menu.We then waited 15 minutes and watched our food go cold on the side- when we asked if it was ours they laughed and said no (however 10 minutes later they brought that exact plate over to us with no apology)- this happened with all 3 meals and sides.Lastly, my friend received her ramen 15 minutes after our meals and after it was cold and left on the side- when she started eating she found a long red hair attached to her pork. I told the waiter and the waitress with blonde hair laughed in our face and accused us of finding the hair on the table despite it being attached to the pork. It was clear this was from the chef as she had long red hair coming out of her hair net.We were told her meal would be remade however she was given a luke-warm prawn pad thai and her original meal as a takeaway.Finally, we were told they would take money off the bill as compensation and they didn?t do this until i had asked twice to check if they would.This was an awful experience especially as we came here to cheer my friend up after her dads diagnosis of cancer.If you are in the area, go to the wagamama next to nandos rather than this, it?s a short walk and the food and service is miles better.Very disappointing will not return.

I'm surprised we don't have this in LA. The apps were delicious (mixed green stir fry and firecracker cauliflower). Our cocktails were refreshing and expertly crafted. The curry was not Japanese style but had a wonderful character of its own. The kids meals were good portions and tasty. We would definitely come again.

Came here for lunch. Decided to give Wagamama's a second chance after another store I went to took our order and when we queried where our drinks were after 30 mins. So the waitress went to have a look. 15 mins after this we were told our order had been lost and had to reorder again. So we left. Well this time round service was quick, so was the food. The padron peppers were a little underwhelming and needed longer on the grill. The bang bang cauliflower had good flavour but wasn't crispy as advertised. Probably wouldn't try Wagamama's again.

Extremely poor customer service. The waiter ordered the wrong food, when I address this to another waitress they insisted I was to blame. After that waitress consulted the responsible waiter they said "I did not make a mistake" you didn't tell me that order despite my colleague's witness and was provided with no compensation. Such a negative attitude and poor customer service from both staff members. I wouldn't go back again.
