“I came to the branch asking some questions regarding old notes and I ended up adding a new saving account, better than the one I had and opening a global money account for travelling, all recommended by one the of advisor, Nick Kotonou. He was super professional and helped me going through all the process. I also had to come back another day as I had some doubts paying a hotel abroad with the new global money account as the hotel said they didn’t received the money and he assisted me with all the process and he went extra mile making calls and solving my doubts. He was very patient and professional. From far, the best customer service I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!”

“On Monday 24th October I had the hood fortune of being assisted by Tedros Hoile (maybe Hoyle) at the Kings Road, Chelsea branch of helping me set up a flexisaver account.It was quite busy and there was an energy of impatience … maybe a slight tenseness in the branch coming from people waiting but Tedros had a very positive and friendly energy that stood out even before I ended up being helped by him.I called HSBC on the phone about setting up an account and the advisor I could only do it in the branch even though Tedros showed me it could have in fact been done over the phone so as a side note :to the powers that be within HSBC … your advisors need more training, I don’t consider it a waste of time going into the branch because Tedros made it such a brilliant experience BUT if I could have opened my account over the phone with someone guiding me through the website then why on earth did they say I could only do it in the branch?Anyway, Tedros went above and BEYOND, using his laptop he helped me set up my account there and then. I’m dyslexic and he was very calm and totally unrushed even though there were other people behind me in the queue looking impatient and very friendly.I didn’t feel rushed to get out the branch, Tedros took me through each step and explained very clearly what was happening and I have to again be honest ‘powers that be’ at HSBC , I haven’t had this quality of care and assistance in the 30 years plus I’ve been with you!Can Tedros please be promoted to Head of Customer Services or Customer Relations please? He’s an asset and HSBC should be grateful they have him!So if your passing through ask for Tedros, he’s a class act ?”
