“Home Bargains has nice wide and clean isles, along with being a well lit store.Only reason I don't give 5 stars is that it can be a challenge packing your bags (lack of space at registers) and if you need any help it can sometimes be tough to find an employee that's not got a queue waiting to ask questions. That being said, the employees are generally very helpful and patient with everyone.”

“Just went as I thought that this store was better for me. Yes found the store empty, which I found very strange, but the store had a good layout, yes found what I wanted. Was only looking for chicken burgers, but in asda they never had. Found them in this store, a bit pricy, but will do. Also found that their hash browns were cheap, but less hash browns then farm foods. Will maybe use again.”

“More staff needed at check out as there was only one self service check out accepting cash. Which was a bit silly as there was people that only had cash. The tills was all closed so the self service queue was quite long. Poor staff was run off their feet n looked stressed, well done to them though for putting up with complaining customers, bitching about having to wait to just buy milk.”

“Very clean and tidy store. Good that it also has a branch of Argos in this store. Staff helpful and friendly and they don't try cleaning the floors while you shop like other stores.”

“i'm a bit of a kleptomaniac and was walking by this shop the other day. decided to pop in and snag some swag. performed poorly that day and was caught by the shopkeeper. the dude grabbed me by the scruff of my neck, dished out untold verbal abuse and biiiiitch slapped the sheeeet outta me. jeez man those bengali boys are probably the best slappers in the world. although my face stung and is still stinging ever since, i must say the speed, timing, accuracy and execution of his slaps were outstanding. they were loaded with dynamite too. i could but stand there in awe and take those sweet slaps the best way i could. after that took some more verbal abuse, thanked him and then got kicked out. would love to visit again if he will allow me, would love nothing more than another taste of that sweet slap sensation session. cheers man! :)”

“a great convenient store for shopping. i think here we can most of the essentials house hold products. there are lot of products and the price are cheap. they arranged the products perfectly. but some time i can't find the products under the product name and they put that some were else. and some products always out of stock and they don't restock.a very big disadvantage is the billing are always have que. some times there won't be enough staffs and also in the self billing area most of the time some of the machines dont work. some times the billing are is very rush so that's wast lot of our time.”

“A nice local tesco. Staff are helpful. Store looks clean. However the fridge doors seem to be open all the time. Also could improve on the halal range if you follow a halal diet.”

“Well stocked products and good variety also. Very rude security guy, who refused to give me discount (for over 60s on Tuesdays) and he said that regular staff isn't available.”

“The negative reviews are unfortunate because this is a small and very busy store where the staff do the best they can. I’ve always found them helpful and friendly. They were terrific during the pandemic also. Give the poor staff a break or go work in a supermarket and see how you like the long hours and the rubbish pay!”

“It's a small Tesco express so does not have a large product selection. But it's ok to get the basics. Was not busy when I went at around 1:30pm on a Thursday”

“Massive stores, with amazing selection on a a wide spectrum of products.Despite it busy very busy the self checkout lines were packed (more machines perhaps?) despite a team of employees helping customers with scanning issues and marshaling people around to available checkout machines, all while the “scan and go area was devoid of customers, and I was disappointed to find one sole manned traditional checkout large open (which I used). Which had a very quick employee manning it) but still had 4 people waiting when I approached which ballooned to 6 people by the time I was helped.Better awareness by management of the workloads of the checkout staff plus optimization of more available checkout (both self and full service) would be greatly appreciated.Despite these shortcoming, I still recommend this store and would visit it again.”
