I had to wait an hour to speak to someone. I was initially told just to go online but for what I needed I wanted to speak to a person - not everyone wants to do absolutely everything on the computer. Despite waiting an hour I was given brilliant advice by a very lovely lady.

Went there to deposit bank notes into the ATM deposit machine, the machine has taken £200 of my hard-earned income and when I raised a complaint, been told the money was never found, this branch either has thieves or careless staff, I have raised my concerns with the CFPB for future investigation.It's a shame to see such a well-known banking name breach the trust of their bankers.

Shortage of personnel which is clearly overwhelmed by the number of clients. Long queues and massive waiting times. They have even reduced significantly their working hours recently. Santander is saving money at the expense of customer service and their own staff. Staff clearly not trained enough, probably being underpaid after the working hours reduction. Rather incompetent problem sorting strategies in general that make clients waste a lot of time. I reported a lost card about ten days ago, got sent a new one that I was not able to activate although I was told that I could access online banking with my usual details. Online banking did not work and the new card could not be unfrozen. They sent through new online banking details but I have to leave the country the next day.

One star is way tooo much for this bank! The worst experience ever, customer service, technical service in branch service you name it and nothing is funcitioning. Absolutely unbelivable bad! Sanding wrong details for security numbers, logging you out of mobile banking repetedly....then making you wait a week for new details in the post???? Telehpone banking message asking for voice recording without rest, waiting endlessly throught it all and endeless secutiry questions with WAY TOO MUCH ATTITUDE FROM ALL STAFF. ...the worst

I give 5 starts to Santander Hammersmith.At the entrance a very polite gentleman greeted me and helped, than at the counter an other gentleman helped to sort put my things. It was done quickly, smoothly in a polite manner.

I had some personal problems which affected my banking and the staff I dealt with were so obliging and kind. very nice people and very good service. For me, they are the best.

Great service and lovely people. There are service machines inside. Finance advisers, insurances and Mortgsge advice disabled access. Personally I have long experience with them and I get always the best answer from this big brunch however one day my account hacked and they helped me to back my money when I travel they are always allowing everyone to use my card internationally without any extra charges.
So I would recommended to friends and people if you want great service.

Customer service was good but told us we couldnâ??t not open a joint bank account because as newcomers to the UK we had to start of with individual basic accounts. Went down the road to HSBC and opened a joint account without any issues.

Excellent service from the team. From welcoming and updating information to opening accounts etc. I felt appreciated and expected during the whole visit. Keep up the good work and take same kind of good care of all your customers.

This branch has the worst customer care ever. Employees are not here to help but to frustrate you. They aren't interested in making business (surprising for a bank!) and they aren't interested in new customers. They basically don't want your money. If you can, just go to a different bank. If not, do go to a different branch near by (Shepherd's bush or Kensington).
