The worst bank is the Metro Bank from Harrow. I only visited them for the purpose of creating a basic account. I visited them after more than three hours and they could not do that and treated me very disrespectfully unfortunately

They neglected to inform me of needing a "magic" word for online banking !?! When I went back to query, I queued (which is fine) for the front desk. They then told me to take a seat and someone would see me at a desk (fine). My query needed to be handled there. A few employees walking around?? I then got called back (with a wave gesture) to the front desk. They then dealt with my query. Luckily as I have taken out fixed term savings accounts wont need to visit too often! Some of that professionalism has been lost.

Good service. Spacious environment and well presented bank. The app is good and works well. Good bank to have.Looked at other reviews and not sure why they have experienced such issues. I have been at Harrow branch many times and it is staffed well and they are helpful and present them well. I think people do review when they have slight issue and 95% of satisfied people just take it as normal service.

Was okay in the past. Now there seem to be less staff at the counters. Staff look miserable and you can literally feel the misery hit you like a freight train as you walk in through the door. Looks like Metrobank's business idea of human interaction and customer service has failed. I can pick out one certain staff member beginning with "V" (won't mention full name). Hugely evident of sub standard customer service. no smile, very little to no intellectual banter and most certainly a lack of ending our interaction in a professional manner. An epic example of a failed business.A new year resolution will be looking to bank elsewhere. Good luck to Metrobank, it's going to be a bumpy 2024 for you.

What a miserable bunch these lot are!? Clearly not happy in their work place or job!?Deposited some money in my account and the cashier was so unhelpful and rude I felt like closing the account and going elsewhere with my hard earns cash!!Metro bank have a reshuffle fgs!!

Went to Harrow Branch. 3 staff sitting idle talking Wanted to open account and was told to see another staff who was also sitting. Went to him and was told to come back after 3 hours. Do not recommend to anybody to go to Metro bank. All staff looked show piece but not helpful.

Never ever had worst experience Like this somewhere else but with metro bank in harrow I experienced it. Its been more than 2 minths I am trying to open a current account. They keep avoiding it and not acting professional. They told me i have to wait 6 weeks just to get approval from headoffice because I am from Afghanistan. Such a shame. They are not responsive rubbish service. Will make u wait for hours and hours without having any customers
