“We stayed at the Connaught while in London last week. It was our first time to London, and the Connaught did not disappoint! Customer service is phenomenal, the rooms are well-appointed, and the concierge was so kind. We loved the Connaught bar, and the Helene Darrozes restaurant. The scallop was literally the best scallop I've ever eaten. We ate nearby also during our stay- at Gymkhana, Jikoni, and Kai- all great restaurants. Hyde Park is walking distance, as is Kensington palace. Subway is easy to navigate. The Aman spa is amazing. I had a 90 min massage, and a pedicure. Both were wonderful.”

“Fabulous location, China town and Piccadilly on the doorstep. Pleasant and helpful staff. Had a free upgrade to a family room with 2 comfortable double beds. Very spacious room number 312, on the corner of Shaftesbury and a side street with windows on two walls. Lively area but not too noisy. Nice facilities in the room with complimentary waters, fresh fruit, kettle and coffee pod machine, biscuits.A fridge with various alcoholic beverages nuts chocolates etc were available to purchase.Hair dryer, iron and ironing board, safe all provided in room.A good sized walk in shower in bathroom, water backed up during use, and pump (?) made a loud noise when using the waterfall head. Reported, so hopefully will soon be sorted.Breakfast was good, although dining area was a bit pushed for space, a bit cramped. Good mix of full English and continental breakfast food.Glad we tried this hotel as it’s right in the centre of theatre land. Will use again as we go to the musicals quite often. Good sightseeing base.”

“The location was perfect for our visit from California, USA to London! We landed at gatwick airport and was able to catch a train to blackfriars train station for $10.00 each. Just use your debit/credit card instead of a ticket, very convenient. We used google maps which told us which train and platform. We walked over the bridge and it was located at the first light on the left. We had arrived earlier then the check in time, however our room was ready so we were able to check in. It was exactly what I had wanted for my husband’s first trip to the UK. The pub is cute, I loved all the wood and Alice in wonderland decorations. We had room 207 and it was perfect for our 5 day base. There is a elevator so we were able to take our luggage to our room. There are stairs, which we always took going downstairs, but they are a bit steep to go up. Room is clean, large, tv, coffee and tea setup in the room. Water and other drinks are complimentary in the small refrigerator in your room. Daily cleaning service with fresh towels! Bed was very comfortable, we slept well. Weather was perfect so we did not need to use the fan that was provided in the room. Breakfast is complimentary and served in the pub at 7:00 during the weekdays and 0800 on weekends. They provide a large selection for breakfast. In addition you can order certain items from the kitchen that are still complimentary. We ordered the full English breakfast, a regular one for my husband and a plant-based with egg whites for myself. But we found that a lot of the restaurants and pubs are very conscientious about food allergies, and are willing to accommodate you. The location was perfect, between two underground stations blackfriars and southwark. We did find a lot of pubs near the river Thames which led us to London Bridge. We look forward to returning to this cute boutique hotel!!!”

“Just returned from our stay here and were completely blown away - everything was absolutely perfect! The check-in experience is lovely, with a glass of prosecco and lovely staff, it sets the tone right away! Leena checked me in and was so kind, friendly and made us feel so special! Our room was beautiful with an incredible view and a lovely welcome message for us celebrating our wedding. Within minutes of arriving in our room we were called to check it was ok and our bags were delivered - great service. The hotel dealt with a serious food allergy absolutely perfectly, which we haven't seen before and it really helped us relax and enjoy our stay.Turn down service was lovely, the room was really looked after and we got a stunning gift - thank you so much.Breakfast was delicious and had so much choice. For me the best thing about the hotel is the service, all staff members are kind, friendly, helpful and actually seem genuinely happy to be working there. This is the best hotel experience i've had in a long time and we'll definitely be back - Thanks Leena for the unforgettable memories!”

“This hotel is amazing, we’ve traveled a ton and this is probably one of our favorite places we’ve stayed at. The area around the hotel has some of the best pubs, bars, and restaurants in the entire city. The staff was some of the best as well. Tommy at the concierge never missed with recommendations. He absolutely made the stay more memorable for us. We’ve spoken with concierge at every hotel we’ve stayed at across the world, and Tommy is the best and it’s not close. If you are planning a trip to London and want to walk anywhere from the hotel, this place is where you want to stay. On a scale of 1-10, this place is a 100.”

“As a first time visitor to London, I was immediately excited to visit, once I stepped into the Londoner. The hotel is new, clean and the service was spot on. I was expecting a small room but was pleasantly surprised when I opened the room and discovered just how large it was. Every detail was thought of throughout the entire hotel. Location is central to most everything in the area. My husband and I will stay here every time we visit London now, it was that good.”

“Such a lovely place, makes you feel a part of history and like staying in a upscale proper English home . We stayed in the Joel Johnson room which was lovely, but at the top of the building, so if you are not good with 4/5 flights of stairs do ask for a room on a lower level . The sitting rooms were great on the 1st floor and we brought in some take away food and had a drink made from the “Honesty Bar” they provide . You have to be Buzzed in the front door so that added security was also nice. The staff was amazing and very helpful with arranging car service to and from Heathrow . This property was ideal for reaching many sites of interest for us. Lots of pubs , and restaurants are very nearby.”

“Perfectly located and impressive architecturally, we enjoyed our stay here. The food for breakfast was great and the staff were superb. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is because the hotel needs a bit of TLC. The floor tiles in our bathroom were not grouted down so moved when you walked on them. The furniture is quite worn and the decor could do with a little update. We had a knock on our door shortly after breakfast to say the room below was leaking and they needed us to turn our water off.”

The location is great, you can walk any wagers in central London in minutes, the staff was very courteous and attentive. They will take care of you. Special shout-out to Marcelo, Isabella and the overnight guy with black loop earrings. The surely took care of me! I’ll be returning. Thanks.Rooms: The bathroom setup is luxurious and enjoyable.”

“Outstanding hotel. Not in the center of London but in a lovely area with lots of restaurants and most of the major tourist sights are easily accessible by subway in 10-15 mins. Hotel is full service, very clean and staff very hellpful. We loved the concierge team, especially Vanessa and Aaron, who helped us prior to our visit with sightseeing advice and during our visit with tickets and subway guidance. For platinum/titanium members, there is an executive club that has heavy appetizers from 5:30-7:30pm and complementary wine/beer from 5:30-9:30pm and a hot/cold full breakfast buffet is provided in the restaurant. Would absolutely stay here again!”

“We attend the BBC proms(summer classical music festival) during every late august and early september and usually stay close in south Kensington or Hammersmith but this time wanted to change and chose The Morton Hotel for 8 nights. It was also perfectly located one step from Russell square station, just few more with the same Piccadilly line that we frequently use form LHR. Although our first room N.31 had a broken Air conditioner, we were moved to room N.26 that ended up been more quite with an strong AC.Rooms are ample for London standard with king size bed , big bathroom and strong hot shower. There is a delicious espresso machine with fresh milk and cookies at every room.Since I plan our yearly trip to London very well in advance, for sure we will come back and will book again in the coming days.”

“We stayed at the JW Grosvenor this past week and couldn’t ask for a better dining experience right at the hotel. The food was delicious, the service from our wait staff above expectations. My wife enjoyed the burata salad. The creamed clam soup was outstanding. My wife had the half chicken with sweet potato mash. I had the crispy salmon served on a bed of spinach and a side of mashed potatoes. The salmon was delicious and cooked perfectly. We shared a cheesecake and wow. We were stuffed. There was no shortcuts on portion sizes.A thankful Shout out to Luca. He made sure everything was to our liking and got the timing of our courses perfectly. Friendly and professional all around.”

“Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel in London, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a warm and friendly staff that made us feel right at home. One standout member of the team was Israh, who worked in the restaurant. She went above and beyond to ensure our dining experiences were delightful. Her kindness and attention to detail added a special touch to our family meals. What impressed us the most was the staff's commitment to greeting us at every step of our journey within the hotel. Whether it was at the front desk, in the restaurant, or even in the hallways, their friendly smiles and greetings made us feel valued and welcomed.Speaking of value, the pricing at this hotel is incredibly affordable, especially for a family visiting London for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and accommodations we received given the reasonable rates. The rooms were another highlight of our stay. They were not only impeccably clean but also surprisingly spacious for a London hotel. Having enough room for our family and our kids to move comfortably made our stay even more enjoyable. One thing that truly stood out was the hotel's flexibility. We had a change in our plans and needed to move our breakfast reservation from the last day to the first day of our stay. The staff was more than accommodating, and they made the adjustment seamlessly, ensuring we started our London adventure with a hearty meal.Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the nearest tube station, just a 10-minute walk away, made exploring London with our kids incredibly convenient. We were able to easily access all the attractions the city has to offer. In summary, our family's stay at this London hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The kind and welcoming staff, affordable pricing, clean and spacious rooms, and their flexibility in accommodating our needs made our first visit to London together with our kids truly memorable. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic London experience. We can't wait to return!”

“The Doubletree is next to Tower Hill Tube station, Tower Of London, Bridge and city cruise port and Hop on Hop off busses station. There is a great Fusion restaurant in but nit owned by hotel. Huge buffer area. The Executive Lounge is cozy and same variety of food as Buffett but only smaller space to lay it out. Rashid, the manager is like your own Butler and personal friend. In room shower is about the size of one on a cruise ship. ?”

“Lack of vegetarian main course options, so we had a range of starters and side orders and asked for one of the salads to be without fish. It worked and the food was very tasty. Lovely service.”

“My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights while on vacation from the States. Last year I stayed with family at the Premier Inn Waterloo across the street but I liked the idea of this location better. This hotel is great for the location and price if you are looking for a very basic, inexpensive room. Our room was clean and the shower had great water pressure. Easy to get around via walking or tube from the hotel. We felt the breakfast was slightly overpriced for what you get but you’re also paying for convenience. The hotel bar was typically empty in the evenings which was nice. We did not eat at the restaurant for dinners. Staff were friendly. Our only small issue was that we arrived early understanding early check in may not be possible. We were told different things by 3 different staff members over the course of several hours which was frustrating and ultimately could not check in early. I understand we were coming in on a busy Sunday but I felt there was too much miscommunication between staff. I would stay here again the future but my husband and I would try a different hotel next time.”
