What to say; the level of service of banks in general is horrible and they don't seem to care or want to improve. Trying to withdraw what was a neglibile amount of MY money from MY account was a near impossible task! Management are clearly incompitent and the majority of staff couldn't care less!I had run around several different branches trying to see if there till had more than a few hundred quid; honestly, how is phoning a sister branch for a customer not a service that exists by default and how is a major bank in the City Of London not holding any money for people?!I was definitely on the verge of closing my account and calling it a day, however, the one saving grace was Basit in this branch; whatever the bank is paying this chap is not enough and they should just make this guy head of everything and sack all the useless dead weight; he was professional, courteous and polite. It was a pleasure to be served by him.Metro Bank: Zero stars!Basit: Five stars!

I don't know why this branch has a low rating , I went into store for a new card and within 10 mins , it was printed , the service was fast and efficient. Great staffing team in this store

Terrible service. The staff just ignore customers and are more interested in chatting to themselves. I had high hopes for Metro Bank when looking at changing banks but it's very bad, would avoid at all costs!

Awful service. Branch opens 8:30, only 2 out of 6 tellers in the branch available for customers. Had my ID checked only to be told that I would have to wait until 10am for the 'advisor'. This over staffed paper based branch based bank is a throwback in the internet age. Poor comms poor service

Honestly these guys don?t know how to bank and we are changing who we use. One branch won?t give us money, this branch decided to close early for no reason at all. Online services are ok but the second you have to deal with their staff it?s terrible.

The lady had attitude for no reason, it?s early in the morning. I think she?s from an Arab country, hair out, I have never had a problem with customer service till today. She?s the worse she doesn?t deserve to be there . Thank you

I had issues opening a Metrobank account due to specific document requests, including an original tenancy agreement and energy bills. Concerns about privacy were discussed with Mr. Adam, but despite that, my application was rejected twice. The necessity of a tenancy agreement for insurance purposes seemed unusual and not mentioned in the bank's account opening instructions. I left the bank frustrated, canceled my application, and hope this feedback helps streamline the process for future customers.
