I am deeply disappointed by my recent visit to the Ralph Lauren store in Brompton Cross. The customer service was shockingly poor, marked by instances of racism and rude behavior from some staff members. Such behavior not only tarnishes the brand's image but is also unacceptable in any establishment. I expected better from a renowned brand like Ralph Lauren. However, their actions have left me with a negative impression. I've been a loyal customer, providing substantial commission, but their conduct has made me reconsider my support for the brand. I hope Ralph Lauren addresses these issues promptly and upholds the values of inclusivity and respect for all customers.

Terrible customer service. They were unhelpful and frankly quite rude - from the bald headed store manager to the brown haired young man who attempted to "help" but only succeeded in insulting me.Not sure what is going on here.

Beautiful store. Disgusting behaviour by women working in ladies section. Extremely rude and making sarcastic comments about people looking and not buying clothes.

Horrible horrible service! I am a black American woman who was followed around the store by an average height brunette white girl who was in the basement on 30/12/22. I should have tried to get her name. At first I thought maybe I was being paranoid, but every room I went to, she was sure to soon be behind me.My husband is a white American male. We left the store without making a purchase. He is who we were shopping for. At dinner that night I said to him that the racism here is just as bad as the racism at home, and he replied by mentioning the girl following me and that being his reason for not making a purchase. What an embarrassment to the establishment. Little did she know we would have easily made a large purchase. I wouldn't travel to another country to steal dear. I hope the next person she does that to confronts her. I feel like a coward for not doing so, but this is not my home, so I should be more careful.

A very unusual but pleasant experience- you are personally seen to by a member of staff who offers a selection of clothes based on your needs.Everything was of the high quality you would expect from Ralph Lauren.

I was disgusted hearing staff mocking people outside who were overweight and not in designer wear. It's hideous to see people who appear to be very fortunate in life looking down on others like that. I hope I never have cause to return.

Love the brand but the sizing is not normal. And I also feel the quality has gone downhill in the last few years. Not only are the tops and jackets quite short but sizes are two sizes smaller than normal sizes. And they don't adapt the length of a jacket, for example, as the sizes go up as you usually would making them boxier. After I called the store, since I had ordered online, they told me the sizes are US sizes. This cannot be correct. I am very familiar with US sizes and they are definitely not two sizes smaller than UK sizes... on the contrary US sizes tend to be much larger than any UK or European sizes.RL tend to deliver from Italy, where sizes are indeed made for people who are on average 5' 3" short and these sizes are for Mediterranean people. They need to sort out the sizing. The sizes of the clothes are all over the place and the measurements on their sizing chart of the website simply do not match most of the time. Wouldn't it be easier to be more accurate and simply have the exact measurement of each collection accurately displayed in inches and cm, and not a chart taken from somewhere which is not accurate?

As much as I love Ralph Lauren, the brand, the products, I don't fully understand the reasoning behind the business model or the corporate management of the brand.First, the sizes are completely off. They are made for Chinese people, for petits or for short, tiny Italians. Are these the largest purchasing groups at Ralph Lauren? If not, why would they base their sizing structure on these groups? The normal clothing size is two sizes smaller at Ralph Lauren. The length seem also a few centimeters shorter. For example, I for one want a standard blazer or jacket that at least reach the upper tigh, not between the hip and the waist. While men have options to select one of three lengths on jackets (short, regular, long) depending on their height, women don't have that option. Apparently, all women are the same height according to RL meaning you are stuck with too short jackets that cut off slightly above the waist, and you can't even sit in them or they travel up to the navel. Because the cut is made for short people (no wonder, if RL primarly use Italian manufacturers. Everyone knows Italians are midgets when it comes to clothing sizes), the clothes are not even comfortable to wear. Everything looks 'shrunk in the wash' as far as length goes.Second, some items do not match at all the sizing description on the website and are off by many centimeters. Then why not individually measure and size items so they are accurately portrayed and people don't need to constant send returns? Then we have the stock management... the stock that sell out right away is of course the larger sizes. Although this is a constant pattern, they never seem to adjust their stock to make sure they always have more stock in the sizes that sell out fastest. It's so exhausting to shop at Ralph Lauren to simply try to get the sizing right, that I've given up and stopped shopping there. Even their customer support can't help but follow the website sizing chart which is not accurate. Nowadays I only browse RL for inspiration.
