I?ve been on hold for over an hour now and I was caller number one 45 minutes ago. I was supposed to receive 30 pairs on contact lenses every 2 months and it?s been over 3 months since I?ve had any delivered, but have been charged for them. I will be cancelling my subscription as soon as I get through and ordering them from elsewhere.

Vision Express, telephone service is just useless?!!! Number 2 at the start of my call. Waiting 40 minutes so far?!!! What, are they doing there?!!! Watching Gladiators on TV?

Needing a complex prescription, have been impressed by the high quality of care. I have used most of the high street Opticians, and whilst not the cheapest, standards here are high, staff are highly competent, and their communications have been spot on.Update Jan '23. As I get older, my eyes need more attention. This visit I received outstanding attention. The latest high tech equipment impresses (even if I don't know exactly what it all does!). But the staff are simply superb, providing the highest levels of service and reassurance where needed.UPDATE: NEVER PHONE!March 24:- Needed some info and phoned. Was on hold for 2 hours 15 minutes before giving up.

I can't rate this place enough! From the moment I walked in I was taken aback by how friendly all the staff were. In particular Guido. He was incredibly helpful, patient (I'm indecisive and took ages finding "the right" frames), and super friendly.Despite having a store around the corner from where I live, this Store in Oxford Street will be my new go to place from now on.Thank you Guido for all your help. I wish more customers facing roles had people like you in them. It makes all the difference. I will be back!

Total rip off guys before you go ahead check the extras hiding charges!!! Same service else cheaper and free the one hour service now they charge you £20!!! Hello this is called rip off you lost a regular customer and I?ll be spreading my experience to others or future potential customers

Tried calling multiple times, each time with unreasonably long waiting times but never an answer. Had an appointment at 18:30, they were late and I had to wait for more than 1 hour. Ridiculous

Worst service I?ve ever encountered. Do not trust this branch/company to reliably get contact lenses. You will waste significant amounts of time chasing people for nothing to happen.

Trying to call. already 1hour 40 mins on the phone waiting. I have been number one in the queue for 40mins. it would be quicker to crawl on my hands and knees to the store to get served

I made an appointment online for today at 1.35pm af the Oxford street branch.I received an email to say I would be called to confirm the appointment. I had no call. I tried to call the store on several times waiting on hold for nearly an hour. I came to the store at the appointment time and guess what?? No appointment. Can I ask what is the point of have having an online booking system?No reolution offered in the store apart from another appointment in a few days.Afternoon wasted for nothing.

Trying to reach Vision Express on Oxford Street because I actually NEED to. I've been on hold for 1 hour and 1 minute....so far. I started at number 5 in the queue. 30 minutes later I was number 1 in the queue. 20 minutes later, I was still waiting, so I called on a second phone at the same time, just in case their system has a glitch. While still waiting on the first phone, I started at 7 in the queue on the second phone. Soon I was six in the queue, then five in the queue. But wait! I'm still waiting on my other phone and am first in the queue. So why is the queue going down on the other phone while I'm still waiting. Now it is 1 hour and 3 minutes on hold...and still waiting. Abusive and shameful doesn't begin to describe it. One can only assume that, even though they are open, staff could care less about customers waiting on hold.* update: At 1 hour and 25 minutes on hold, I finally gave up. I called the 800 number and was told that the Oxford Street store would call me back the next day. They haven't....

Absolute waste of time, had an appointment and was told i will be contacted in the coming days to get my prescription and try the prescribed lenses. One week later and no one contacted me, been trying to call all afternoon, spent one hour on hold (there were 3 ppl in the queue), a bit odd for an opticians shop and no one answered my call. I don't care if they are short staffed or wtvr, they can hire more ppl, lol.Also I really don't understand the reasoning behind not giving me the prescription on the same day as my appointment, guess they just want to generate a flow of customers and walk ins at whatever expense, and waste more of ppls time.Anyway, I haven't even started dealing with these ppl or given them money and they already gave me a headache. I can only imagine how this would turn out in case I'm having trouble with an order. Will be avoiding.*The staff at the shop are professional and courteous, the place is really well maintained and the facilities are clean and tidy, but all that goes down the bin because of
