This used to be such a nice welcoming post office where everything could get done quickly and smoothly. I do not know what happened but I have seen new staff here who do not know how to treat customers. First, the queue system is handled in a confusing way. It is not clear where to queue for the service you need. I asked if I could kindly be served first ad I am 9 months pregnant and was told to go back in the queue. I had to ask the employee to repeat this to check my understanding was correct. I could not believe ny ears. I told the employee I did not need any help but she kept handling my parcels saying they were too big for the size I had selected but it turned they perfectly fitted the size I chose. I also heard the same employee telling another customer to "let her do her job". I am absolutely appalled by the level of rudeness and lack of professionalism when handling customers.

The old man behind the counter (70+) is the rudest most unhelpful, most patronising person I have ever met at a post office. It?s not even the 1st time! He needs to retire and make space for helpful people/anybody else. Told me not to use Royal Mail anymore after I told him the site was rubbish and had not worked for at least 48 hours. Evri, UPS, Amazon all beat them with convenience & kindness and then you have him telling customers not to come back!?!I will try my best never to set foot in this branch again! He can?t retire soon enough!

This branch encourages you to use the online machines and then tell you to wait in line so they can accept the parcel.Young woman who has the most sullen attitude of anyone I've met needs to be trained in customer service.Go elsewhere if you can!

If I could give this post office o* I would. The worst customer service I have ever experienced.Very slow staff who do not apologise for long wait times. Awful service.

I barely write any bad reviews anywhere. But the service I got here was horrible.I visited to pick up my parcel that I ordered from an online shopping mall. There were only two staff members when I went. There were lot of people lining up. I can bear with the waiting, it's fine. After a long waiting I was assisted with a middle aged woman. She seemed okay at first, as she guided me out of the queue and went to this machine to scan my QR code for collection. Then she asked for my ID. This is where the problem came as 1. I am an international so I don't usually order my parcel with my legal name as people tend to not read it properly, and 2. I didn't know this would be a huge problem.I explained to her that I ordered my parcel with my preferred name instead, and the ID shows a different name. She just cut me while I was saying, said "no, DPD is strict on this" and was trying to leave the place to serve another customer. That customer asked me if she can ask the staff a real quick question, and she was nice so I understand. After the staff talked to the customer, I called her back why the name is different and asked if the ID with my legal name has a photo of me, and my school ID that has my preferred name has a photo of me as well, can I get it.I didn't interrupt her but she just cut me and said "LET ME TALK. You cannot collect it." and just went away, just leaving me standing there dumbfounded.Honestly a well-known university in London should be more strict than DPD but okay, I understand. Even though no where on the website told me I need to order it with my legal name or something, it is still my fault about not knowing it.But could she not have been nicer in terms of dealing customers? Did I yell at her? Did I interrupt her at all? I don't think I did, then why is she doing all this to me?Whoever is in control of this post office should do better staff training. There are employees who deal these types of situations better than that lady. I don't really care about the fields she works in, but I know that she shouldn't be in customer service at least.

Absolutely unacceptable behaviour of a middle aged woman that works there. I am in shock that people with such low service and unprofessionalism are offered jobs like this. I will be making an officia complaint but the Royal mail need to seriously train their staff for professionalism and atleast acceptable customer service were not even asking for great customer service seems very scarce these days

It?s so unfortunate to say that this place is unable to hire more staff to deal with the customers. I had to wait for more than an hour and 15 minutes on the queue just to sort out my issue at this branch which is totally disappointing. One lovely lady was dealing with a massive queue that was really disappointing to waste an hour to do a one-minute job while other workers can?t jump and help her while we are waiting.I will definitely going to report this to the post office and i hope this can change something in this branch

Horrific customer service. I'm referring to the lady behind the travel desk (foreign currency). Terrible behaviour and sleepy attitude. Awful.

5x counters, only one manned/ being served every time I use this post office. Rubbish. How is it we use to be able to afford local post offices and now with Internet shopping, the postal service is worse!

Extreme disappointment with the level of service I received from one of staff members at the counter. The individual ( woman) in question was rude, disrespectful, and displayed unprofessional behavior throughout our interaction.Despite my attempts to seek assistance regarding my post, the staff member abruptly left me without any explanation and proceeded to attend to another task. When she eventually returned, I raised my concerns about being left unattended, but she ignored my complaint and suggested I use the self-service option instead. Furthermore, she used offensive language in her native tongue, which was understood by a friend accompanying me.This kind of racial behavior towards customers is completely unacceptable and goes against the principles of good customer service. I found her dismissive attitude and abusive language deeply troubling. It was only after another staff member intervened that I was able to receive the assistance I needed.I feel compelled to bring this incident to attention and to share my experience with others. Such unprofessional conduct should not be tolerated within your organization. I hope that appropriate action will be taken to address this issue and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

Was in the queue from 3:50 pm on a Sunday. Got to the front at 4pm and Asma, the employee turned off the light and walked out. She said she doesn?t work past 4pm. What a poor work ethic. I submitted feedback to the head office and they replied saying ?the experience you described is not the kind of service that should be delivered. You should not have been refused service?.
